rockwool, vs coco, vs clay pebbles vs ?

so I have a question, whats everyones favorite grow medium? I've heard rockwool is easy to use but holds a lot of water, I heard coco is more forgiving with water but I'm not having any good luck with coco, so my question is what does everyone use and how do you use it?

I use 3 gallon bags with 3 parts chunky vermiculite and 1 part perlite, with drip irrigation. GH 3 part nutes plus liquid cool bloom.

I use 1" Rockwool Cubes to start my clones and once they are rooted they get put into 4" net pots full of Hydroton ( Clay Pebbles). Works really well and the hydroton can be cleaned and reused.

right now my major problem with coco is my plants are dying in it, I have a grow journal but don't know how to link to it yet lol, I just wanted everyones opinion about rockwool and coco cuz my partner has an aeroponic system with the pebbles and coco, I'm going to start a grow with 2 5 gal buckets, a water pump, and some clay pebbles and see which one grows faster
