its so difficult to get good answers on here. i understand the effort and etc it takes to put up a site like this. and my hats off to you good people here at RIU. but some honest feedback. this site sucks. hard too.

i ask such simple questions and they go unanswered. yet if i ask a question where somebody has the chance at posting a snarky answer, that snarky answer is always posted. worthless. thats about 30-50% of riu members. then thers another 30% that just answer because it makes them feel smart. 20% answer rate is honestly what i get here.

some real triumph from the humans here.
this really is excellent.

putting men into space......while 90% of the population eat each others pee.

roll it up has failed me greatly. and all you wanksters and a-holes have seriously stunted not only the growth of this site. but you continue to stunt not only cannabis culture, but human society every damn day......:spew:

maybe people at RIU dont like repeating themselves OVER and OVER and OVER again for basic noob needs. you should try reading the forum before you start posting noob stuff. If i would of saw your threads im sure i would of helped you out. But things recycle quick here and if your thread isn't bumped to the top it doesn't get seen. hopefully you still enjoy growing herb. peace

i know how you feel bro i work on a free to air site as a supper mod and thats one thing we dont let go on and thats bashing!!! auto ban for that theres no need for it at all it makes people not want to ask anything for the fear of being bashed on. i like this site or i would not be here theres alot of very good info here i just think the bashing here is getting out of hand!! but its there site and they make the rules and its up to them if they want it here or not.:peace:

sorry you feel this way.but not knowing the contentents to your posts and or how manytimes your ? has been asked and or can it be found in the grow fax. this plays a big part as to the answer you get. yes there are a lot ofone liner answers i for one am gulty sometime. oh well it happens just ignore it. best of luck in finding your answers to your ?'s.

most of us take the time to do our own research so we dont have to ask simple questions that are answered in the grow faq's or the newbie section. put simply ask a stupid question get a stupid answer. its almost insulting the level of laziness of some people.

i understand what you are saying. but it seems to me like you are fighting a wrong fight.
real life answers from real people. is the best way to learn and grow.

it reminds me of back in school days. 20 kids sit in desks while one boring half retarded teacher slowly talks and "teaches"
half the people i know who grow herb can barely read english. and i see that here sometimes too. a guy asks a poorly worded question, hes trashed to high hell. you think if he can barely write out a simple question he can go reading through the forums.

its human nature that is really at test here. It becomes a personal choice. am i decent enough to answer this guy or do i choose the path of the jackass and tell him to go read. because most of these morons take the time to post long threads, just to say "go read the forum"
when really they could have answered this "noob" just as quick as that. noobs are great people. maybe we should all stop pretending to be big shot weed growers and help out the kids eh?

LOOK AT HOW MANY ANSWERS I GOT BECAUSE OF THIS THREAD. ONE GUY SAID, HUMAN LASINESS IS ALMOST NAUSEATING. even if there was more answers in a friendly nature, that maybe even persuaded people to read around first, instead of not answering, this would help alot no?

and if all of you who have answered are moderators here. i am in no wonder as to why this site is a failure. it really is a failure im not kidding. if you consider this site a victory, then u have some re-evaluating to do.

Maybe there are so many question re-treads due to the non-working search facility? RIU is a good site with excellent info and some good informative members. The problem every forum has is that a far higher percentage of twats join than helpful people because there is a very high twat rate in society I guess. What is about odd about this site are the hidden forums, as a result you tons of people answering the same post with contrasting info to try to raise their profile to gain access. There are some shockingly inept answers to some posts I have read..

Some questions are unanswerable. Especially in a 'personalized' manner.

"How do I grow marijuana? *pick a method, there are lots of ways*"
"What's wrong with my plant? *lots of pics, but no description of the care taken for the plant*"
"How much will I harvest? *we don't know!*"

Etc. These are (intentionally) ridiculous (but still numerously asked!) questions.

Or sometimes the question has so many possible answers...
"what nutes should I use?"
"what kind of water should I use?"
"what kind of light should I use?"

The possible answers result in, 'those people that make you hate this site' replying and starting needless flame-wars when people are merely trying to share opinions, and personal experiences, and trying to be helpful.

There are many, many reasons why questions go unanswered. Typically it's because the question isn't well thought-out and is missing crucial information that'd allow someone to actually help you. And no one wants to hold your hand through the process... well, maybe your significant other. Not us.

sorry i dislike lazy stupid people i answer questions and have helped people on many threads but some peoples questions are unacceptably retarded. in a way by dignifying some questions with responses it does not help the person as they will never learn to educate themselves.

And non of us have any re-evaluting[sic] to do. This site taught us all how to grow TREES. Why? Because the rest of us aren't lazy enough to wait until someone comes to our house to show us how to grow. WE READ AND RESEARCH. Failure? Look at your sideways seedlings! ;)

but in all truth, if people started hating on the haters. we would in the end win. im sure there is more positive people here than negative. sad part is most nice people are beaten so bad by sharks throughout life, they hardly ever make a proper stand.

down with the haters. if logic rained true and pure. you would all have admitted defeat (of course there are many variables in my post, due to poor wording etc etc)

but in the end i am correct. this site is full of constant hate/ignoring. maybe some people dont feel safe crusing around here answering stuff who knows. but in the end swine can die and cowardly actions dont win a war.

Freedom of speech is a most important thing and you have to respect the fact that you can have a thread on RIU titled RIU sucks.
The downside of that freedom is that peeps can post shit if they wish.
Seems to me that quitting RIU will get you zero responses to your questions for sure, so maybe 20% good replies and 80% silence or crap is still better than what you are contemplating.
