normally i wouldnt go off... but this pisses me off a lot... i help out a TON of people.. i am following about 12 grows.. i get PMs all the time asking for help.. i post as much and as often as i can.. i offer people to check out my journal and post their ?s to help them there... i do EVERYTHING i can to help as MANY people as i can... YES it does get tiring answering the same questions over and over and over... so sometimes i dont post as often... BUT i still post a SHIT load... i DONT get HALF the rep i should from people... but you dont see me posting about how shitty people are for asking for help and not giving out rep for it... but it doesnt stop me from trying to help out as much as i can... its not cool at all for you to put this site down or anyone on it because you cant find the help you need... it took me a long time to form connections with people.. i didnt just start posting and get 200 replies.. normally my shit went unread.... but after a while of meeting and talking with people i started getting the answers i needed as soon as i asked them... but with an attitude like yours bro no wonder you havent gotten anywhere... damn..

In what way... as far as I can tell 90% of the questions that people log on here to ask are so asinine and ignorant that they aren't worth answering, yet I click random links to new posts and respond whether the questions is asinine or not. Usually I let them know its asinine, which is probably what you call a 'snarky' remark. Fucking common sense and a little research and you don't need to ask a million stupid questions like

"When do I flower?"

god that is a stupid question.

I wonder how many books on the subject of pot cultivation the OP has read. My guess is zero.

as you probably know, and this is an actual reserched fact (i work in the field)
there is a study that was done, that actually proved that 80% of rude (in better terms, assholes) people were actually "gifted" with a low intellect. they did poorly on the tests they were given.

simple as this. why do you think in high social circles, rudeness is something that is "ghastly" or whatever you wanna call it.
in most private schools where you pay 300k to put your kid through school, manners and proper respect are just as high on the list as math, science etc.

i agree alot of people here can be assholes. if a stoner types words like "kno, wat, sum1" and dosnt care spellcheck will fix the word, people automatically assume they are ignorant or cant spell. i just had my first argument with someone over there "snarky" comments on RIU. i was genuinly insulted and pissed off by what some people said to me, even though we had never met, talked or anything. he didnt know jack about me but for some reason thought he was better than me and i was in middle school.
its definatly true that it comes down to human interaction; however its easier to neglect or critisize or insult someone who you hav no real human contact with. its like how its easier to hate someone you cant put a face to, if you can dehumanize your self its easier to be cruel.
its best to take the great advise offerd here about growing pot plants naturally and hydroponicly from experts who care,not olny about weed but also about other people who like weed who may need help and take the stupid comments with a grain of salt.

ask a stupid question and you may get a stupid answer or you will be ignored. whats rude is the threads people start asking questions already addressed in the newbie section or the grow faqs. whats worse is they will just post these asinine questions on someone elses thread on a totally different subject. there are plenty of sites similar to riu you will find stupid questions are treated the same everywhere.

What's worse is that this guy is basically sh*tting on everyone that bent over backwards to answer all his questions. If you're too lazy to look at responses to your own threads ...you have much larger problems to address.

"if a person asks an asanine question....he probably needs more help than the other guy...." just some VERY SIMPLE philosophy there. i mean i dont work in that area, or sociology for that matter.. now do i. lol WHY YES I DO. thats why your answers are so void. The only true problem with this site is that there aren't enough measures in place to prevent lazy, little kids such as yourself from posting useless threads like this when EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR QUESTIONS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED. Its probably because unfortunately controversy is second nature. Its normally easier than writing an answer and some people find fulfillment by reticule. Also a lot of people really like RIU so your post is obviously going to attract attention. As for mods being here I don't think I've seen any. They don't take kindly to people or site bashing. Which is exactly what you did and what you condemn... So I don't really understand your position. Either way. You asked why some questions didn't get answered. People answered you, and you didn't like the answer.

Fuck that I only read page 1 but Ima put my input in right now. I help people every day. I may not give every specific detail of my answer but maybe thats cause im always stoned lol. How you think the people that been growing for 25 years got this shit perfected? Its cause they did trial and error. they couldnt go on the net in the 80's and find marijuana questions. I honestly can say every single question that Ive ever needed has been answered to me on the FaQ's. I maybe made like one topic but that was answered in about 2 minutes (counted). I love this site, i love weed, and i love being high. Momma said dont stop till I bust a nut, fuck the world-tupac shakur r.i.p
