On the subject of Romney proclaiming that JEEP are moving their production to China:

"It's one thing to lie about your record or even your opponents record, but what Romney has done here is to lie about a third party, in that third parties backyard."

Chrysler CEO Mr. Marchionne has refuted Romneys statement.

GM has also refuted the statements, several times and apparently got so tired of doing so they put this statement out October 30th:

GM on Romney: "At this stage, we're looking at Hubble telescope-length distances between campaign ads and reality."



I guess only one question can be asked of Romney:

lol doesn't matter anyway, his supporters are already caught up in this magical idea that Romney is going to create jobs somehow with no facts to back it up. Magic Republican think I guees, for some bizzare reason they believe things like this.

FYI, if you really did deep into this story, it appears that Chrysler is flip-flopping in this case. They did have a spokesmen who told Bloomberg that they were considering moving all Jeep production to China. When the shit hit the fan, they changed their position it seems.

EDIT: Not Chrysler after all, but poor writing by Bloomberg is the cause of this whole issue. So Romney was an idiot to run with it.

The closer you get to election day, the wilder the claims. It's called TOMA. Top Of Mind Awareness. It's a business/advertising technique. You flood the media with your campaign ads. The more sensational the claims the better. It sticks in the short term memory and influences the thought processes.
