Romulan and friends :)

I know its unlikely that i have the true romulan but i received a vial of romulan seeds a year or so ago from a neighbour. this summer i did some testing and found one phenotype that grew as well as it tasted. the high is motivating as all hell. i mean like the riddlin the doctor gives me...the first time i smoked it my girlfriend told me i could smoke as much as i want of romulan i just wasnt allowed to give it away.

Alas some of my friends want me to stop being greedy so in my new grow room ill be starting with my rom rom.

The room is 4x7 with 800w or 2700k cxb3070s. i couldve gotten upgraded chips and a better spectrum but i didnt so here it is :) in my 3x3 tents ive been getting 1gpw or better with led and im hoping to pull 1.5 elbows this first run. mostly i wanna get a good yield to convince my girlfriend that the time and money ive put into my affair with romulan will be WORTH. i thought to use an intake fan as well as an exhaust but so far ive just been running exhaust and using a passive intake. the intake fan just sits there... the temperatures are around 75.
The room is evolving as we have the time to fix problems we find.

I have 32 romulans in 6 27 gallon totes. with a goal of 24 ounces i will need to achieve 4 ounces per tote.

The totes are filled with worm castings, a small amount of chicken manure, sphagum peat moss, rice hulls, perlite, oyster shell flour, bonemeal, soft rock phosphate, alfalfa meal, seaweed, and the leftovers of a nutrient/mineral mix i bought from buildasoil.com a couple years ago. i really wish i had picked up neem meal but i forgot it so i will have to be doin some topdress.

In a day or so we will be watering in our first barley hay sprouted seed tea. i want to leave the seeds ibtact and use hay as mulch so i can get some crazy interactive mulch :) here they are the thanksgiving morning when we planted them.

I retarded the growth of a few of them by making them wait for too long and getting rootbound. but they will be fine in a few days.

Here they are on monday morning.

Day 9 and we are gettin lanky and more pistils. It was gettin too crowded in there so we defoliated a bit. The growth is fantastic!20161217_224034.jpg 20161217_224028.jpg 20161217_224039.jpg 20161217_224103.jpg

day 22 of 12/12 kinda sux that leds dont grow flowers....lol. I can't tell you how many friends that I have that deny these results even though they have seen them...this is 4x7 and there are 800w of cobs spread out in there. 5 ish square feet of the canopy isn't being filled so that I can step in and water the plants. I'm still expecting an easy 6-800 grams.20161230_085025.jpg 20161230_085908.jpg 20161230_085914.jpg
