Peace and Love everyone. Here to share ideas with like minded folks. I'm a first time grower and since starting my crop I have often referred to RIU for valuable information whether it be help designing my grow space to troubleshooting deficiencies. I recently decided to join. A little info about my grow..I am 2 weeks into Flowering 3-soil grown Lemon OG ladies I grew from seed. I dont plan on continuing this crop as this was just bag seed I happened to stumble upon a few months ago. I have a 5x7x6 space in my basement that I converted into a semi-isolated grow room where I run a 600W HPS on a Lumatek e-ballast. I just ordered a GrowBright Carbon filter and inline fan and will be installing as soon as it arrives (My girlfriend appreciates my passion but lets just say I need it for my own well-being). I have been pretty busy with work but I will post pics soon. Looking forward to meeting/chatting with everyone. Never exhale..

welcome to RIU
get some pics up but not if it stops you getting that filter in ;) things are going to start getting stanky over the next couple of weeks, the hum has prolly started already

Oh and i use a mix of Organic Miracle Grow, Coco and Perlite. And as far as nutes I use Dyna-Grow Grow and Bloom. And I add a 1/4 tsp Epson Salt every once in a while when watering since i use rain and distilled water..

Welcome to RIU. Not bad for your 1st grow. I would recommend doing some light LST to open up your biggest and get some more light down inside her.

I wanted to but was afraid to since its now flowering. This wouldn't stress plant too much? Was thinking about pulling branches lower on the stakes to spread them out. Im also trying to battle between more light to the bottom and burning the tops.

If you LST just a little bit everyday, then it should be fine and won't stress it. Just take it slow.

Gotcha. Would you suggest more stakes to spread or bending with ties or pipe cleaners?
If it was my plant I would poke some holes along the top edge of the pot. Then use some green stretchy gardners tape or soft braided string, like your srog netting is made of.

A pic of one of mine that's in the beginning of my LST work.

Whats your room temps like??

Plant looks stretched and heat stressed. Also showing signs of over watering.

i was hoping someone could tell me something about the canoeing! My temps are 75-79 during light hours and 70-75 in the dark. I just transplanted into the 6 gallon and I water once and feed once a week. The light is about 12" from the tallest leaf. What weird is its worse around the middle.

Hmm those temps deffo won't be causing temp issues. Water and feed schedule is good.

Yea it's odd..I transplanted just before I cut the lights about 2 weeks ago. It looks better than it did before even with the stretch. I'm not going to over react. Any experience leaving under MH to reduce the stretch? I was thinking about popping mine back in for a week or two.

Also don't have a separate space set for vegging..I know, sounds crazy but another ballast, reflector and bulb aren't in the budget
Have you thought about getting CFL's for veg? It'd be much cheaper as you wouldnt need to get a ballast, I got my 200W CFL and reflector for about £45 together (so around $70 I guess). Are you seriously not going to see this grow through though or am I missing something here cos why wouldnt you finish up and at least get some buds after all this work seeing as your already in flower
