Root rot: clip em or wait?

I posted earlier today with a smelly bud problem. After some research I've come to the conclusion that it's root rot. I'm about 80% sure on this but I'll have to check the roots tomorrow. Its been raining all week so there's definitely LOTS of moisture in my pots plus they're kitty litter buckets so they don't drain. They used to be indoor so I never had to worry about this. Anyways, if it is root rot, what are my options? I was gonna harvest early next week anyways cause they almost done. I can't decide whether the buds will benefit from the upcoming beautiful weekend or if they will suffer due to this new affliction.

if i were you i would try to get the bucket as dry as possible as fast as possible, put a heat source by heat, put lights by them, put it under a hps real close to the soil, you must dry the roots out, its not worth harvesting prematurley man, even if they are root rot as long as its not so far progressed that your plants look like they are dieing they will continue to grow, jsut dry out that soil right now, dump some off the top and add some more to it will absorb and repeat, keep doing this and keep it somewhere warm or on something warm for a bit to get them dry good luck man :peace:
