Roots coming out of repotted pot

So i repotted my plant almost a week ago its been growing like crazy, and now i see the roots coming out of this pot as well should i transfer into a bigger pot? i heard the rule of thumb was when the roots show you need a bigger pot. just wondering.

well for the people who were curious about this themselves i have lifted the plant up in the same pot and poured more soil in and then placed it back down as i feel it hasen't grown out of its pot i think i just placed it to far down when i repotted out of a party cup. You can come back to this thread in the future. as i will know in a few days if it went well.
