Roots - Transplanting

Is it possible to keep a plant in container small enough to inhibit root growth long enough to permanently stunt it's growth (kill the roots)? Or can the damage be repaired by transplanting?

personally, I've had problems getting them to grow once they were bound real tight, but I know of people growing huge plants out of Mcdonalds cups so it has to do with technique

You know, I can't remember who - but someone here grows mad chronic out of 16 OZ cups (can't remember who right now). Guess I will just pay close attention to my ladies, well, I'm gonna have a smoke and watch Running Scared with my G/F (she's never seen it).

I believe you are talking about SICC.
He is the God of party cups.
But if you want great big plants you need great big pots.

Don't think it was SICC, I will check his journal out though. Thought this guys name was Jack something. I'll have to go back and look. I want at least an ounce a plant. As long as they are under 6 ft when done I should be fine. Thanks for the info.
