Less is more, but less is also too slow lol.
I'm really digging these silk 2x4 bags i switched to. 10 g's in a bag flower or bubble. Only when i'm squishing flower do i barely get a blow out, and i squish all the way to 20 ton. It's hella easy to pick out the very minimal blowout bits. Zero blowouts squishing bubble.

LOL Thanks everyone, a night of sleep always help.

I know to reload and start over but when you are like on the 5th attempt!! I was trying to press a big puck of wet fresh bubble hash, 32 grams. I agree less is more, I started with the whole puck with coffee filter, blow out, try again blow out, (by then your fingers might be really sticky too which adds to the frustration) so I thought I ll split it in half, and use the mesh bags, I guess I didnt have enough of a fold, blow out, blow out, blow out, fuck them pouches, went back to the basics, small batch with coffee filters. In the end I got just over 14 grams of rosin, darker than it could have been, probably lost like 4-5 grams in the filter. Note that the bubble hash was fresh and wet at 32 grams, a little bit of water came out on the pre press but anyhow I think the water is all gone, who knows may be starting over so many times has help me rid of the water. pics on its way.

my guess is that I lost around 5 grams in all the filters. Next time I wont be so greedy, small batches.

its fairly thick too thinner would be much paler, smokes really nice, gonna put it away see how it ages. by the way, how do you guys store your rosin/shatter, if you want to store it for very long time? glass jar? in the parchment paper? Ive seen it where the shatter was sorta becoming one with the parchment paper but it was a long time ago, maybe shitty parchment paper...

@doublejj to press at 180F you need a hella lot of pressure, i tried it and couldnt get enough pressure with my 2 ton arbor press, i usually do 230-250 and i make my own bags.

182 is my goto number for hash and flowers. Always on 182....
