I’ve got some nice looking sugar leaf coming up. I’m trying to figure out the best use for it. I’ve made ice hash in the past but now have access to the Rosin press. I could also do dry ice hash. Thoughts?

Rosin press quality is directly liked to the quality of the pressing system, and the temp control.. This can get costly! Concentrates of this kind,,,kill your tolerance levels fast.

Ice hash....My fav. You can even press some for that big hit need when it strikes.... Many uses.

Dry Ice. Care must be taken to not over shake or shake to hard to prevent plant material contamination.... Cheapest hash system out there - depending on Dry Ice costs vs needs..
Nice for small amounts of trim! You learn when to stop by doing it...learning curve..

Your choice..

HEALTH NOTE: In the use of high concentrate's, care should be taken.
Just a cpl weeks ago. A friend who is a normal rosin lover (she has an account here) came over and we did some light pressing of a few reserved strains I have set aside.

She got excited about one and set a really big hit up. I suggested temperance, she brushed it off as she's well set in her rosin ways.....Long story short....She blew that big hit and as she she let go of it. Had a "flash" of her sight being changed to unnatural blurry in one eye.

She finally broke down and went to her doctor. She sent her to an opthe, er opti,, oh eye doctor..

She had a blood vessel brake in the back of her eye... Not permanent damage but could be if she continues with the cause. This was her second time with this experience doing high concentrate hits... The doc warns of possible/inevitable retinal detachment by repeated damage..

BE CAREFUL!

Yikes! I only use pens and vaporizers anything harder then that will make me feel like losing a lung.
I have a nug smasher which gets good results for my needs. I also have bubble bags so Im just trying to figure out which one would get a better extraction.

I tend to use my trim as a filler when I make my CCO caps. I just throw them in a freezer bag and add to my flowers during brewing.

Something similar happened to a friend years ago. Instead of concentrates he would take truely take massive hits off of blunts. One day a coughing fit burst a vessel in his eye. He walked around for a couple weeks with a bloody looking eye. Some folks have to just learn the hard way.
