Rot!!?

I think I noticed some rot it looks like on the bottom of one of my plants. basically at the surface to the puck. check em out pics are below.

It looks like it is getting eaten away slowly, the plant isn't as stable as it used to be.
can anyone confirm I have some sort of Rot? n if so is there a way to cure it?
and sorry my camera's a lil blurry. it sucks i know.

hydrogen peroxide would fix it if it was root rot.... I cannot figure out how to post a larger photo....are there any tutorials for posting up photos..???

They kinda look more like actual roots growing around the base. Too blurry to see though.

alright guys so it definitely is rot effecting this plant. It looks like its kinda gettin eat'n away. today the pland was noticibly less sturdy

alright but how would i give it some hydrogen peroxide?
cuz below, the roots that are in the water are completely healthy, white n all. it's just at the base of the stock.
