Yeah your right - generally you don't transplant auto's, they're roots aren't as strong and if damaged won't have the requisite time necessary to heal themselves. But I transplant under 2 conditions: enough potting mix in the small pot to ensure roots don't poke out and the soil I'm transferring it too isn't too 'hot' for a seedling.
Be careful and don't do unnecessary things. I just find must of the complaints about auto's is from people expecting the world and being too hasty. I pull just under 3oz per auto every 2 weeks, with no LST, no topping or even a support stick lol (which I will implement as they get a bit heavy!).

I agree mate they don't liked to be touched by what I've heard first hand a few years ago but saw the way the guy was doing it with great success so I've tried to mimic it starting of in small amount of soil like my bottle im in then very carefully moving those whole contents of bottle into final pot when around 2-3 inches tall which is where she is now and starting on second set of leaves. I agree that people expect to much off em when they know nothing of autos but i can agree strongly on harvest as I knew a guy who pulled atleast 4oz dry of nlxbb every 10 weeks or so with no training or topping plus grew a few other strains with similar numbers in similar times. Hope my transplant goes well tmrw,time will tell.

Transplanted today and perfect timing aswell as when I gently turned her upside down and tapped her the whole perfect cube of soil mix and fine roots came out. No roots were visible on outside of bottle but give another few days and it would of been to late. Here she is a few hours after transplant

Cheers mate I think she will to. Nearly a day and a half after transplant and I'm sure there was no shock to her as no drooping or limp looking leaves just a healthy happy lady and I don't think stunted growth will play apart even tho I started her in a bottle koz wen I popped her out of it there were no roots at bottom of that soil but I think a few days later and she'd of hit the bottom and that woulda fu#*ed me :). Shes Under 24rs of light for next week or so then onto 18/6 or 20/4. Keep youse posted as I'm sure over the next 2-3 weeks growth will shoot off,fingers X'd.

looks like your using led's mate?..mines going very slow after transplant (above soil) so can only guess energy is being spent downstairs on root growth. Yours isn't that far off mine mate so I'm thinking of ditching my 125watts of 6500k cfls and chucking them under my 600w hps at about 18-19 inches off cooltube that's ducted pulling heat off globe. That distance should be fine do you think?. Cheers

400w hps lumatek high par cooltube and 2 135w 3w led ufo's mixed spec in a 3.8' x 2.8' x 5' box

i have limited vertical i start them under a semi fixed (only adjust one end 6" or so) cooltube @ 3-3.5'
and just lst them down when they get 8-10 inches from the light

i did a few grows 1 led per lst'd plant they fair ok
they are amazeballs supplementing a hps
have a 7 band and a 4 band

that was a 7 band 135w ebay led with 3w and 4 68w cfl's had some (k) issues stunting and (P) def burns

Nice tekdc911 I'm thinking of starting up a separate veg room and going the led route but will still wait and look around.

Here she is now a few days after transplant. Starting to see more action up top and a new set of leaves have come up the last few days. Will post newer pics in better lighting soon but here she is under hps with a few daylight cfls to try offset the colour spec a tad.

I think I'll get in on this NL Auto grow off as well.... Lol.
I'll post some new pictures this afternoon, Sensi's auto genetics have really been impressing me.

Okay here are some new pics of Sensi's NL Autos....

This first one, is the short, wide phenotype that I found. This one had the calcium issue (I believe), which is why a ton of the leaves look trashed. It really never got much worse, but the leaves that were originally damaged, got worse. Buds look great though, beautiful smell, extremely dense nuggets. Some of the buds on this one have a little purple in them, some of the calyxes are kind of outlined in purple. And I know it's the genetics, because the FL heat this year has been crazy, and still is. It hasn't been below 70 since April or so.

Now, this is the second monster phenotype that I found as well. This is the smaller of the two "big phenos", it seems to be doing pretty good. Might give it a little shot of N next feeding, but other than that, she's coming along nicely. A lot of good bud sites on this one...

And here is the other "big pheno", that is bigger than the one above. This plant has really surprised me. It started off out of the soil, with these weird yellowish looking blotches on it, and was growing super fast (like male fast), I thought I was going to lose this one for sure. Anyways, I have had to tie up a lot of the branches, because the buds are so hard and tight, and are falling over (kind of sucks now that she can't move) This area is about 5' wide for perspective, the "Open Sesame" I used really worked well on the two "big phenos", and the branches are just full of buds. It is still early for these two big phenos, so the buds haven't really started fattening up yet, but they are definitely on their way. These two "big phenos" really didn't start flowering until about 7 weeks in, they showed sex about 3 weeks in, but then just chilled and vegged a lot more, then bam, here comes the bud sites.... But yeah, I am thoroughly impressed with this Auto, she's a real monster.

I am sure both of you guys' Royal Queen NL's will be awesome, I have heard a ton of great stuff about them. I will be following both of your grows closely. Tek has been a huge help for all of my auto grow, he knows his stuff, so if you have problems brotes, talk to Tek and I'm sure he'll get you straightened out, he's a good guy. *uck that 4th pic in first set made my eyes pop out like something you see in a cartoon bro. those girls are enormous for autos you're most def taking care of them and you have no idea how big my smile is now, was worth all that stress of beans being taken by customs twice until I got em :) . By the looks sensi have a winner auto there for sure and that monster is a understatement for an auto mate by any standards. I was thinking of switching to mh for a bit as she's under hps atm but still going good but wonder if i will see better growth opposed to hps. Yeh mate by what I've read and posts I've seen tek seems like a good bloke and has alot of knowledge so shot him a pm yesterday as this is my first auto grow and have a million Q's. good luck with her whitnasty she's a beauty mate and I'd love to see how they finish up.. My pics will be uploaded today when I get home.

Won't expect to much,just learning as this is my 1st a/f grow but she's a bit over 3" tall and is on her third set of true leaves. Think she's around 2 weeks from germination so let me know how she's doing for her age.

You look to be on track pretty good. The MH will definitely facilitate vegative growth better than the HPS. As long as you take advance from others (presuming it's good advice) and use common sense, you'll be good. This has been my first AF / indoor grow too. It's been 5 years at least since I've grown anything. Used to grow photoperiods in a greenhouse, so I had to pretty much learn everything over while getting my room dialed in. So you can definitely make it happen.

What kind of nutes are you using? My NL's are pretty heavy feeders, last feed was at 920ppm, pretty heavy for autos. My skunk #1 autos didn't like to go over 600ppm. The NL's seem to be pretty big nitrogen hogs as well, I wouldn't feed yours anything for atleast another two weeks or so, then start slow and slowly build up, we'll be here to help you out along the way. There's nothing more fulfilling than taking that tiny seed and turning into a labor of love, I forgot how much I love cultivation, and i personally think you have to grow your own medicine in order to fully appreciate this awesome plant, instead of how other people see it, just as a drug, or something to get you high.
