Howdy folks,

This is my second grow, (first went haywire with roomies in CA some yrs back) and I'm pretty excited to try out autos.

I have a total of 9 seeds (3x Dutch passion auto blueberry, 3x Dutch Passion auto Blackberry kush, 3x RQS Northern Lights auto)

For this run I'm only doing 2x RQS NL's, one in a 3 gal smart pot, the other in basically a 1 gal smart pot w/ a jimmy-rigged additional 1 gal black pot on top.

Medium- Foxfarm K-9 Kube

Nutes- FF trio

Tent- GrowLab40/AKA- GL40

Lights- CFL- 3x 30 watt 6500k CFL & 3x 42 watt 2700k CFL @ light schedule 19/5 (happy medium betwixt 18/6-20/4)

H2O- ph'd at between 6.5-7 (always, always over or undershoot!)

Intake/outtake- for now just using a Holmes fan at setting 1 to blow in fresh air, temps drop to 63.5 Fahrenheit when lights off with close to 70% humidity, and with lights on the temps never go higher than 84 Fahrenheit with a median rh% at- 33%-45%. *** once intense flowering starts, I'll add a 90cfm outtake with carbon filter as well (on top of the outside of the tent, these bad bitches need all the room to grow)!

Status- I'm at a little past 2wks in, and they are looking great! The 3 gal girl is about half the size as the jimmy rigged pot, but just has this delicious intense green that looks great! The jimmy rigged is probably going to produce and grow faster would be my guess, but they both look great and will provide much needed stress relief to weary parents of young daughters!

methodology- started by completely flushing both medium filled pots and stuck under the lights at 24/0 for approx 12 hrs, then at which point I poked my finger down and slapped the seeds in. It took the jimmy rigged bastard 4 days to pop out! The 3 gal popped the next day. I then switched to 19/5 schedule when they were seedlings with only 3x 30 watt 6500k cfl and 2x 42 watt 2700k cfl (to keep temps up). After the first week I gave the jimmy rigged a good ph'd watering and then 2 days after I fed the 3 gal ph'd h2o with blackstap molasses. I then fed both a week later (same day) with ph'd h20 and 1/4 amount recommended of Big Bloom and 1/8 amount recommended Grow Big. And let me tell you, these girls are resilient as hell, that feeding had splashing land on some leaves and whatnot, no nute burn no nothing, just ridiculous growth in the days after that feeding.

Which brings us to present day... The 3 gal pot is electrically green as hell and super happy and showing white pistils already. The jimmy rigged is just bushy (darker green) and monstrous as hell, and is also showing white pistils.

Wrap-up- basically I'm planning on keeping it stupid simple as hell... Once a week watering (flush next watering) and following lowered nute dosages from here to harvest keeping that good "dry-wet" cycle going vigorously.

As an afterthought, pics will be attempted to be loaded on next update.
