Ive recently been re-reading a book that ive had for a while by Jorge Cervantes and came across a paragraph that states ruderalis is a true ditch weed and native to those areas. Does anyone know if this is true? I knew about the ditch weed part but had to toss that in(his words) as I believe he could have been talking about hemp, but then again he refers to it as a small scraggly plant which hemp is not.. Any info would be great thanks!

Canadian hemp is not ruderalis, at least as far as my understanding goes. True ruderalis with the autoflower trait is a Russian plant.

It is only native to Central and Eastern Europe as well as Russia.
