before you start spraying down your babies with pyrethrum i would suggest getting the sticky traps and putting em near the base of the stem and see if anything gets stuck.. i would bet you have some gnats or thrips flying around whether you see em or not

do you see any caterpillar droppings on the leafs or on the cover of the res? them buggers hide real stealthy and is very hard to see them.
when was the last time you flushed before this time? could be excess salt buildups, but either it is a bug eating them or holes are getting burned right through your leaves. back thos e light sup a tad too.
perplexing problem

okay......i think this is what my problems are...

No calmag

ph is shifting from 5.4 to6..0 within 3-4 hours..give or take...thats not good..result of not flushing the hydroton..

my humidity during the day is 40-55% and at night 70-75

....maybe some critters ...few pest strips to see?...

what ya think?...seem like these symptomes coincide with my problems...?

also...the tips on each margin of a few fan leafs are yellow...just the very tips..and only a few..?,,

Calcium helps with the leafs cells...molecular structure..so could that be the issue with the holes?....i am noticing yellow spot the slowly the hole appears from it...from what i can tell...

id say you are on the right track.. get the ph stable and keep the RH low in the night time and you will be good to go.. they still look great.

Calcium Deficiency:
Young leaves are affected first and become small and distorted or chlorotic with irregular margins, spotting or necrotic areas. Bud development is inhibited, blossom end rot and internal decay may also occur and root may be under developed or die back. Deficiency will cause leaf tip die-back, leaf tip curl and marginal necrosis and chlorosis primarily in younger leaves. Symptoms: young leaves develop chlorosis and distortion such as crinkling, dwarfing, developing a strap-like shape, shoots stop growing and thicken

that and ph flux....ooo..i think we might b on to something...

idk..i flushed for 2 days with h202 and the leaves started browning...but not crispy brown?...then greying and dying..they where mushy or wet?...i am assuming they where telling me more nutes plz...so i upped them to 450..
