Newbie to this and looking for help. I started with a bag seed on the window ledge that I thought why not and I'm now day 20 under 20/04 - 18/06 light schedule and winging it and not sure if I'm doing ok? It's about 6inch tall but very leafy I have read so much and contemplated trimming leaves but since I'm winging this I thought id just leave it be, it smells glorious but not sure if male / female when will I swap it to 12/12? Does it look ok I'm really looking for reassurance more than anything and any advice welcome. Also does it need repoted and if so when, I'm assuming now? Thanks

you can flower when you want in any size container you want I've flowered in beer cups and 55 gallon drums, from seed, to flowering seedlings to vegging for a year. its up to you. plants double and triple in flower. if you're sure you can provide for a plant of X size then flower appropriately. Remove non functioning leaves or those damaged in horticultural practice/habit. Like skirting the plant for more air flow. cutting off leaves to allow more light is like cutting off roots to allow more dirt, so....

get it repotted and flip to 12/12. find out if it's a female plant.

I'm going to go for a new bigger pot tomorrow and then I'll flip it once it's settled thanks

30x handheld magnifier will tell you quickest if it's female. check all node areas and by week 4-5 you'll be able to know.
