?'s on Ozone Generator

My plants are increasing in smell in their small space in the closet. I've been looking around for options and I'm considering a 600 mg/hr Portable Ozone Generator. Aside from not keep it in the grow space, has anyone used one? Know any other "fine print" points about these things?

They work good but you don't want it dumping into your breathing area. Like your bedroom. It's okay to breath in small amounts but not all the time. They put off O3 so can be hazardus to you and animals.

ozone works great.

But as warlock said, you need to take precautions when using it. Best use for ozone is venting into an attic, and then running the ozone generator in the attic.
They CAN be used in open rooms, but you gotta be careful. If youre getting a strong ozone smell, then it's probably too much.

Althought i hate most CAP products, I stumbled upon a 10case of ozone jrs. They put out 200mg ozone/hour and get the job done. 600 is a lot, just make sure you're careful.

Here's what the EPA has to say about ozone and you:

Thanks, something to think about. The closet is attached to the bedroom so it'd be hard to ventilate that space to a neutral area. We live in a duplex and have the bottom floor, I've been upstairs and they have an attic IDEAL for a good grow set up. But I'm working with what I've got. Anyone used those ONA Blocks or essential oil gels that eliminate odors?

They won't do it alone.

What works great is using it in conjunction with a carbon filter. Set up your filter and fan to exhaust, and then open up a small sized ona jar and stick it inside of your exhaust ducting.

Be carefully with ozone generator high level of O3 will damage your leafs & stun your plants, I got bad memory coming back to me as I write this, very very bad memory of a full grow turn into hash at 6 weeks flower, very very bad memory:spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew::spew:

Just run a carbon filter! As long as you have a bit of negative pressure there will be ZERO smell after the carbon filter. Also it wont damage your brain and will help with allergies if you happen to have any.
