I still don't understand why people would smoke hash made with chemical solvents. Water hash may take more work but it's worth it. I know all you will say once it's purged its fine. It's not. No matter how much you purge it you will never get all the solvent out of there. I'm not ok with inhaling butane into my lungs.

I haven't seen anything definitive on the impurities of BHO, but I have cut it out personally. I just made some bubble that after it warmed up to room temp, remelted together and looks like BHO.... I can tell you that BHO and bubble hash tastes differently... taste isn't the right word (more like effect on palate and throat).... anyway, the "taste" of bubble is much cleaner. and I've made numerous coco oil batches with both.

It goes without saying inhalation of butane is bad for you. Not to mention all the bhotards out there pushing the movement back years. Try pressing your bubble in your hand for about twenty minutes. That activates it and locks in your terpines so the flavor won't degrade over time.

There are a lot of BHO fans here and there was a link to an analysis of a BHO sample that showed it as clean, clean enough to pass muster with the EPA and FDA. So it is possible to have clean BHO, but I am scared shitless of working with butane, especially here in the land of static arcs. So, like Bubba, I will stick to bubble for a few reasons, mainly wanting to do it myself and not having the skills required for 'tane and also out of a superstitious fear of petrochemical residue that may or not be present. And yes, I understand that when it is done right there is no residue, please accept me as I am, superstitious.
