So I see sum salt buld up on my clay stone in my DWC system. I presume this can cause lockout. My roots r submerged in water so my tubs are not full tpo the net cups. What do I do?

I use Hydroton rocks also in my net pots. I've never really noticed salt build up but I also neglect some aspects of my grows. I think you'll be fine, personally, but if you wanted to clean off the hydroton, I think that boiling hot water and then dropping them in might do the trick. Just my 2 cents though.

Hopefully this answers your question.

My plants r in the cups so I can't really clean them in boiling water

Just pour some clean water across them if it bothers you. It won't really hurt anything though. Unless a bunch of them fell in your res, it might cause your ppm to go up, but who knows. I wouldn't worry with it.
