just over the 10 week mark, 1st amber trics finally showing
right at the top of main cola, kind of a clear copper color
a good amount of cloudy, and still plenty of clear
so a good week before i even consider cutting main cola
you can see a few amber to the lower right at bud tip, focus wasn't perfect though

Brilliant photo dude!
thank you sir, trich photos are a bitch to get, so any enjoyment is appreciated

the stretch run is here, getting the pre-harvest excitement
day 75 of flower, last grow of the mother was cut at 76

so i was real curious if the clone ripens faster than the mother
from what i'm seeing, the answer is not much, if at all
i've got a few amber trics, plenty of clear and cloudy
amber are less than 5%, probably more like 1-2%
this is so close to the 1st grow, i have to call it dead even
so for this strain, clone/seedling? - it just don't matter

so it's time to push the boundary a bit
the last harvest gave me a mix of head and body
head rush was intense, but tolerance built up over a month use
so i'm thinking 1-2 weeks more - 13 weeks for an indica?
in my opinion, this strain shows a strong influence the thai genetics
which is part of the nl#5 lineage, at least by the posts i've read
suggestions welcome as always

just a sanity check there, thanks for the encouraging thoughts
when i cut it at 11 weeks, i got a pretty interesting indica
gave a very intense head rush, a head rush that is 'hold on to your chair' or you'll be thrown off
tolerance has built to the head part, not so much on the body
so i'm looking for the body effect, just don't want to go over the edge on pontency

time for the weekly trichome roundup, it looks like the 'cystal palace'
this has to be one of the slowest ripening indicas out there
still an 'ocean' of clear and cloudy, but there are amber in the picture
not many, still a few percent
but i'm getting a better feel for her this time around, i do see cloudies really taking off
and as long as clear are becoming cloudy, you're getting more goodies pumped in?
that's what i've read anyways

Frosty shit! Savin the leaves for hash?
the fan leaves are pretty withered, funky looking things
nutes getting sucked out, i leave them on till there's not much left
now the trim leaf was quite nice last time, only had enough for a few joints
trim isn't famous for smooth smoking, but these were as smooth as silk
there just isn't much leaf in the end, it's almost all bud

harvest is finally near
96 days since i dragged a ratty looking clone from a PC grow that sucked

not bad, all things considered
i cut at 11 weeks last time
so it seems right to cut at 12 weeks, that and the trichomes are finally changing
much more cloudy, and a fair bit of amber, could be 5%(maybe)
2 more days of ripening ought to make a fair difference between the 2 harvests

the last pics of the whole plant and the trichomes
but i do plan to reveg this plant again, this is a keeper pheno
but it has to be one of the slower ripening indica's out there

the cutting is done, the bud is weighed
just under 100g wet, looks like about an ounce dry
for me, this is just what i need, no more, no less
not as much as the 1st grow with the same strain/mother and setup
this plant hit 21 inches, the 1st one hit 29 inches
just got lucky the 1st time guessing the height
29 inches was as big as my chamber would hold, so that was very lucky

bud with Bud can for size
