Same strain, different growth?

so two plants in same tent.. Both same strain, both getting good light and airflow... Two plants because one seed was planted and didn't sprout after a week so tried another one in another solo and just left original seed near by "just in case"... Second seed sprouted and began growth quickly... Meanwhile about 12 days after second seed sprouted, the first seed did and didn't look extremely heathy but began growth... Both vegged decently but the second seed always looked stronger.. Granted it was 12 days or so ahead, but just seemed stronger. Now 8 weeks into flower (10-12 week flowering strain)... Second seed planted is extremely resinous and beefy buds while the first one that sprouted looking less healthy is just much thinner and not showing many trichomes yet... Although they were put into flower at same time, could same strain under same conditions flower for additional few weeks and end up beefing up? Thanks!!!

Sounds like a weak phenotype. If you have the option, definitely harvest at different times. I can't guarantee it will fatten up as much but you can certainly get a more potent bud by watching your trichomes. I've had similar scenarios when a plant will lag a few days behind the rest. Shit, I've seen single plants harvested over the course of a few days if the whole plant wasn't ready.
