Same water source, but two different results...? STUMPED!

OK, I posted these two plants pics at about 3 weeks saved from a soil nute burn. Transplanted into a top feed hydro system. Plant had a day 1/2 shock period, then took off! I went out of town for 3 days and came back to this! These plants are fed from same res. The only thing I can imagine is a HIGH pH problem! But why one plant, and not he other? I am Stumped! I have lowered the pH sense pic! I only have a hth 6-way strips to test pH. Color code matching, no specif numbers! Which indicate now between 6.4 and 6.8. Before it was about 7.5-7.8. The Alkalinity lvl is high still. Could this be the culprit? How do you lower Alkalinity, if so? Thanks for replys! Please let me know if I am even on the right track! :wall:

Thats not what i asked! Are you using anykind of secondary suplements?? CALcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, suplement.

So you say you are running a hydro set up, but you are using a 20-20-20 fert?????
Are you using a fert for hydro or something you found at the garden center?
20-20-20 is not balanced for MJ

Using a 20-20-20- at 50%!
This is the only thing added to water at 50% of directions. Nothing additional! Is Cal/Mag an additional nute I should be adding? I do have a 24-8-16 and a 15-30-15 nute that I can change out with. Would one of these be better? Please bare with me, new to whole Hydro method! Thanks

Need to get a real nute line up.
Do you have a hydro store near you?
I use botanicares line up
It has a couple bottles but you need them for a balanced diet.
1) Liquid Karma- Its a benifical bacteria that keeps the roots nice and keeps the bad bacteria away.
2) Grow- It is high in nitrogen(this would be the first number in your 20-20-20) Keeps the leaves green and the plant growing strong.
3)Cal-Mag-This gives ou everything else your plant needs the the nutes dont have. This is what you need!
4) Bloom- This is used in the flowering stage. It has more of the nutes needed durring flowering(this is the second and third number in your 20-20-20)
