Why is it lefties always try "infrastructure work" as their pancea remedy to everything? And what happens to all the people once the massive overhaul of the infrastructure is completed in a mere few years?
The private sector subcontracted to maintain infrastructure is far far more efficient.
Our roads are fucked because people think they can trust the Govt to fix things without oversight.

An oil boom has caused an energy industry to emerge near the state’s southwest border with Mexico, but that extra business has also brought extra traffic.
Now local roads ravaged by oil-industry trucks are far too damaged to be repaired by what resources the state has, and the solution officials saw as the most affordable involves serious downgrades.

no, that's supposed to be the baseline, but they leave out all the other gun related deaths that are not homicides, but rather suicides and accidents and whatnot. so it is a pointless graph.
but look at how sharply gun homicides declined right after they passed the assault rifle ban in 1994!
gun control is clearly effective.
