Sandmonkey's 4th Grow: ,,, SOMA A+ (aka Rock Bud) ,,, SAGE 'n' SOUR ,,, ICE

Haven't updated in a while.

This grow started with 8 plants, 3 starins. I'm now down to 4 plants from 2 strains

I had to leave for a few nights so I gave my plants a big watering before bouncing. When I came back it looked like one of te S'n'S plants died from overwatering :s weird shit.




It's not all bad though, as one less plant meant I had the space to install one of these today. All organic

I'll get better pics up on Monday, as I'll aslo be coppin some clones to get a perpetual grow going since i have the extra room. I'll probably go with 2 now (maybe PPP) and 2 more once I harvest the Somas.

The Soma's are starting to stink. Skunky yet fruity. The S'n'S isn't very smelly. very earthy. Then again it's not supposed to be a stinky strain.

Yeah too bad about the Ice. It's an excellent smoke. Probably the dankest ounce my boy and I ever copped in Switzerland was Ice. The flavor wasn't there, but the punch more than makes up for it.

I might try Ice again soon though. I'm buying some clones on Tuesday. still undecided about strain. It's definitely better suited for a SOG style grow. I don't think they grow that big.

how often are you feeding your plants when you start to flower...and with what?? and do you feed em other things like molasses with just your waterings? i'm so confused on this part of growing

I don't know if I'm doing it right, but I feed them every other watering. So once nutes, once just ph'd water.

I feed them BioBizz BioBloom, TopMax, Alg-a-Mic and BioHeaven, plus AN Phiranha (twice at the start of 12/12) and Tarantula once in a while. I also use liquid bat guano extract and molasses.


I recommend you continue to give them their veg nutes in smaller doses. You don't want your plants to start going N-deficient halfway through flowering. Save that for harvest time

great info!!! if i could give u more +rep i would...but RIU aint lettin me so i feed em veg nutes AND flower nutes when i'm flowering? i thought there were nitrogen in other nutes...

haha don't worry bout the rep.

Basically what you want to do is decrease the amount of veg nutes during each fedding while also increasing the dose of flowering nutes each time.

So on the first feed of 12/12, give the 75% of the regular dose of veg nutes and 25% of the blooming dose. The next two feeds do 50/50, then 25/75, etc.

damn man that soma is lookin COVERED!!! i think ima order these seeds whenever i get the courage to order seeds i like the way it grows very short and compact...yet its still a heavy sativa...right??? if it is, then its the perfect plant for what i wanna do...how long did you veg again? i'm too tired to hit the backspace button good work buddy!

it's actually an almost pure Indica comprised of the best picked Skunks from all corners of the globe.

I veg'd (From rooted clones) for 18 days I think

Just fed my plants with the same ol' combo of BioBloom, BioHeaven, TopMax liquid guano plus molasses.

I gotta say, the Somas are looking really good and probably only have 10 days or two weeks tops to go. I'll feed them one more time next week then flush

They're very cool plants.

Give 'em the extra veg time, and they'll become beautiful compact indica bushes. Also go easy with the nutes.

They also prefer cooler temps. Not the biggest yielders, but (supposedly) really good indica smoke and in my experience, a pleasure to grow.

I'll let y'all know how they smoke soon

haha thanks. I'm hoping they'll be really dense, cuz the buds don't look as big as other strains I've grown. But then again they don't look fluffy at all. Plus i think the extra CO2 helped a lil
