Hey

As the title says I am wondering about this led company(couldn't find anything on this site). I am growing in a 4x4 and already have 4 area 51 75rw and a 200w cxb3590 panel from todogrow led. I am now looking for another bar shaped panel to max out my space. I am thinking about ordering another panel from todo but the sanlight would have the advantage that I can buy it right here in the store so no shipping costs.

A bit hard to comment: checked one web but only german info but able to understand the following: over 52 umol output for 27.5 watts= efficiency of around 2 umols per watt which is worse than poor. This for m30 light.

In your case i would speak to tgl and ask for a custom light: same as the bar for the cxb but using vero 29 gen 7 version B: this chip beats the cxb in tests here on riu and chips are about half price of a cxb: should save them around 100 euros in material cost depending on how they source cxbs and drivers as this chip is 50 volts instead off 36.

Two weeks away from selling clu048-1212 3500k 200w bars on eBay. 240 euro with aluminium bar and 230 euro without.

Buying from me directly 220 / 210 euro

more or less, doing it for fun then focus on profit :) When i can buy larger amount of components my goal is 200 euro for a 200w grow kit with dimmer

I found this datasheet in english
Doesnt sound too bad, 300 ppf is not a lot but it depends on spread, how it throws that light on the canopy and that can only really be judeged by real live tests. Very red spectrum which might supplement the spectrum of you tgl.
Are you sure you need more light? You have 500 reasonably effic ient watts already over 16square feet: 30+watts per foot which is usually enough.

Hi, Sanlight just updated there lamps/datasheets.
Efficiency is now at 2,9 micromol/J. Which sounds very promissing.....

Nope, not too hard, too lazy!
I've only the "old" datasheets with 2,1μMols system effiency.
They claim to use special bins from Osram(above top-bins) to get those efficacy but they are more expensive and I don't know whether Osram actually makes special selections for bulk purchasers!
On the other hand, they offer a good support, up to the annual upgrades of the LED modules without having to replace the entire units.

their ppfd charts are quite accurate, they have a li-cor at their booth at trade shows one can play with. what sucks is the distribution system, they sell only through shops, thats why they are more expensive. pity though, the lights are really well build

Yeah, it looks like cool and warm whites with additional deepreds, all top bin Osram with 630mA driver. You could easily built your own for half the price.

Are their PPFD measurements taken at 1 meter? I find it annoying when they use the incorrect terms and units of measure. Does not give me great confidence they know what the fuck they are doing.

The SPD looks they are using white LEDs with deep red mono and maybe deep blue. They are not going to break 2 µMole/J with white phosphor pushed lighting.
