Sativa grow, saw white hairs in late September .

image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgI have had this sativa grow going for a long time, I'm pretty new to this.. I just can't get these stupid things to finish, they're under about 18 125 watt cfl s. saw the first pistols in late September I have been on a strict 13/11 this whole time, they're in 2 gallon pots using miracle bloom and Alaska 0-10-10 once a week.. What the hell is going wrong? These things won't finish!!

Any pics available?
The 13/11 is probably not helping, but your lighting could have a lot to do with it as well.
First I would suggest switching to 11 on, and 13 dark if you are not fond of the 12/12.

I agree if you are not going to do 12/12 do 11/13 also in the future I would go bigger then 2 gallon pots not required but just my suggestion it must be your light schedule I would think with 4 months bloom they would.eaither be much bigger or dead change the light of.nothing happens soon I would toss them and start with a new strain no point in waisting much more time like said you could have had 2 harvest in that amount of time good luck

Hmm, I know that the pots are to small. I had bag seed and didn't plan on huge plants.. I'm a newbie lol, they have been growing much faster in the last couple of weeks.. So cross my fingers, I didn't know much but I was told that it was most likely a strain from around the equator it could take a 13 /11.. I guess bad advice, I really hope it didnt ruin my grow I have put alot of work into it..

Stick with it - Sativa can go a long time!!!!

This is a picture of Dec 2nd outdoor Malawi:

The weather got to cold in SoCal this winter so the Malawi started to rot before it finished.

These are bag seeds? That maybe a issue right there but first try changing the light schedule give em another 2 week's if not much has changed I would start over. You learn from experience just chalk it up to learning lol and I always run 12/12 in bloom I have about 14 diffrent strains and all of them like the 12/12

My indoor hydro got root problems so I never got to finish it correctly. This was after 93 days of 11/13:

Edit - It was my first indoor and I used CFLs and a Kessil LED for flower.

Thank you for all the advice , I went to a 12 12. Called my friend and asshole for the poor advice.. And added two 100 watt hps lights I scavenged.. Things are looking great!! Will post pics next week, but I think it saved the girls..

DJ Short - The King of Sativa growing and inventor of Blueberry strains is the one that states that 11/13 is better for Sativa growing. So your friend was giving you some great advice. Look up all the info you can about DJ Short. He is a wealth of knowledge on all things Sativa.
