Sativa Sexing

I cut my teeth growing indicas, and after a few crops I have a sativa grow going...the strain is Red Shiva from 420 seeds. 3 plants. They are on day 12 of flowering. On day 8 of flowering, one of the plants was showing obvious male clusters. The other two nothing. Now, it is day 12, and they still show nothing. My indicas sex within 4 to 6 days every time, and this is unusual to me that one plant from a strain sexes that fast, and the other...nothing. I can't even find preflowers.
I did top the plants 3 times each, and they are like bushes. Maybe I am just missing something.
Anyway.....any insight on this would be a help.

Just throwing out a theory. Sativas take longer to flower and possibly longer to show sex. Add in that since you are coming from seed you might have some different phenotypes showing through if it has any indica in it at any point. Maybe the fast showing plant had more indica traits whereas the others dont?

Yeah my sativa's took nearly three weeks to show sex. It wasn't a good time. I HATE waiting!!!

Damn good point...spork. I am just used to females showing first, and this one was absolutely a male. Anyway...I will continue to wait.....I planned a 13 week flowering anywasy, so why am I worrying?? OH yeah....I started with only 3 seeds, and already one was a male...I just ant to know that I didn't grow 3 males!!! LOL.
Oh well...I got 6 out of 7 females on my current Ice grow, and they are the same age and already have several calyx.....they are going to be NASTY....so WTF.

My males showed first with my sativa's. So fingers crossed!!
