Nice to fill up jars again, getting tired of the Liberty Haze from last round, literally, tired. All I got left is from a large bud that foxtailed like crazy. The foxtails were 'high', the (more amber) inner bud is like a sleeping pill.

Chocolate Fondue, what an amazing product this strain turns out to produce:

Needless to say, this stuff isn't for lightweights. It is not, unlike planned, a suitable smoke for during the day. I smell like haze from top to bottom, so does my house :eyesmoke: It smells so strong (skunk+haze...) that it's not suitable for me at all (neighbors...).

That's from the CF3 btw, CF1 and CF2 are still standing...

Finally all dry and in jars... this was not the quick round it was supposed to be. Took SK1 and CF2 down after 77 days 12/12.

5.3oz wet weight from the stretcher alone.

Chocolate Fondue, plant CF2, yes all from one plant:
(stretcher from pic above is cut in small pieces in the box)
Turned out to be roughly 6 oz dry with zero popcorn:

Main bud from CF1:

Skywalker Kush. SK1 plant. Pretty good yielder as well:

And again no popcorn:

Some pics of SK2, CF1 and CF3 buds drying:

Big jar above is some earlier harvested Kolossus, after harvesting everything else I still had this in Kolossus:

With again no popcorn:

Even at the very bottom just a dense bud of swollen calyxes:

Kolossus:

Kolossus dry:

All:

The small buds still on the CF2 and CF3 (top right two plants) turned out to be 15 gram just as hard and compact as the rest:

In total I have roughly 2 gram of bud that I didn't trim, which looks like this:

Some trim:

Total dry weight: nearly 18oz / 505gram. Of which 290gram is Chocolate Fondue, 115gram Kolossus, 100gram Skywalker Kush (only 35 from SK2, 65 from SK1).

That's roughly the same as last two rounds, give or take an oz, and clearly I need more space if I want more yield. Currently on a little less than 3x4', upgrading to 4x4 soon, which should lead to a quarter more with the same light (400w veg and sexing, 600w flowering). My max in this space is 540gram, which it would have been again if the SK2 wasn't such a short blooming low yielder.

And there you have it. No need to defoliate to get max yields and no popcorn. No need for boosters, shooters etc either to get dense buds from top to bottom (I had PK13/14 in rez for a couple of days, removed it by refreshing rez completely). It (all 3 strains) is definitely the most potent I've grown so far, especially the Chocolate Fondue has a long lasting effect. Showed off a bud CF at DNA Genetics last weekend, the guy was clearly impressed by the smell as well while it was a quick-dried bud 3-4 days after harvesting. I want to grow regular seeds to get one or more males as well, else I'd definitely do a few rounds with just the CF.

Excuse me while I pick my jaw up from the floor. Whooo! Well done indeed. I really dig the pics of the "skeletons".

Hey Kroost, here's a clean pic of the Kolossus skeleton after cleaning out the tubes:

Thanks FM, I'll probably make some ice hash from it (simple shake, sift, settle and siphon method) because I don't have a lot of trim to work with. The SK is a bit like the liberty haze, really frosty calyxes but not so much on the leaves. CF has frosty sugar leaves but a low leaf-to-calyx ratio, so not a lot of trim from that one. Most it will have to come from Kolossus trim and that doesn't get me really excited.

Forgot to mention in previous post that I got a total of zero seeds so far. Smoked the pollinated buds already. Funny in an ironic way though, messing around with bananas so much and not a single seed, while people who get stress hermies get unwanted seeds all over their plants. I'll try again some day, maybe a local product called Lesbian Dream (seems to be just CS as well though) but will probably make some STS. First, some regular beans. Won't be able to start again till next month so I'm plantless for a while :x

While crumbling one of the last buds of Chocolate Fondue I heard something hard drop on the table, music to my ears... a seed, and a big nice ripe one too. Sounds like a lame T-shirt though, "I bought Tiresias Mist and all I got was this one seed".

However, she's quite special:

(she's only 400ppm, 3weeks from planting seed)

The parents are by far the best two plants from my previous run, so I'm curious to see what she will do in flowering.

Skywalker Kush

I'll be topping and cloning her soon, but will also make some seeds with it.

Hey FM,

It worked, but barely. I found 6 seeds in total so far and don't expect to find more than a handful in the Kolossus and SK buds I still have. Only 1 was good enough to pop, the rest is too small and too green and aren't from the Chocolate Fondue (SKxSK and SKxKolossus). I think the lack of good results is a combination of 3 main things, me not being patient enough (removed the misted branch too soon), Tiresias Mist not being the best solution for the task, and the strains (some respond better to reversing than others). I've read quite a few people with similar bad results, but if I would have have cut off the preflower balls, and let the rest ripen some more under HPS I probably would have had better results. I don't think it matter much if any whether you create your own CS or get TM, but for better (more) results I think STS is the way to go.

Growing out a few Cannalope Haze males and females too, which is the grandpa of Chocolate Fondue and great-grandpa of my L8N8. Also selected an ICE plant from 7 year old seeds I still had in the fridge, and got 4 chunk plants. Going to create something similar to the Chocolate Fondue but excluding the Thai Chocolate genetics.

Cannalope Haze in buckets and bottles, so I can remove the males later on, plants in tubes are feminized. 4 small ones are chunk, L8N8 in the right back corner, ICE left in the other tube.

One of my main selection criteria is the ability to handle the 24hr wet roots. Last two rounds I noticed there are always a few plants that adapt faster to hydroponics than others and those plants end up with thicker stems and more bud with the same veg time.

Some hempy bottle pics:

I grew a male plant in my first ever attempt of Hempy. They grow fast and large in hempy! Good shit man, glad to see your garden up again.

How did you like Kollosus in the end? Mine finished pretty nicely. Fairly meaty, nice and dense frosty. Can't really describe the odor, but it smells nice in my grinder right now!

The Kolossus is 'OK'. Frosty and strong and a somewhat floral-earthy-coffee taste. Good enough to sell and easy to grow but personally not one of my favorites to smoke. Grown it twice now, won't get it again cause there's imo much better stuff available with the same or less flowering time.
