surprise!
ive gone ahead and started on another set of seeds to cross to my querkle stud

these where again showing iron def... I sprayed them 3x with 2ppm iron and a 1/4 tsp aminos and theyre greening up

as a result im again going to raise my iron from 1.7ppm up to 2ppm
im also going to reduce zinc a bit more (0.16ppm)to see if its still hindering the iron

if that doesn't eliminate the mild yellowing I will have to look at possibly reducing my P for the first 2 weeks of flower or remain comfortable with spraying iron a couple times

basically the same thing im already doing with N in the first 2weeks of stretch 12/12
im spraying 3 or 4 times with aminos which offsets the lower N in my pre-set bloom formula

on the 4 week satoris you can see some leaf curl and minor tips burn

that's from the weekly silica/azamax spraying

I might need to consider lowering the Si marginally... it seems to be right at the top of whats safe

the lemon kush turns out to be a very tall plant

all five smel similar with some being more sweet than others
of the 5 girls that made it from seed 4 are similar... not rarely airy but not dense

the 1 has much rounder fatter chunkier firmer bud formations but still very tall
that is the only one im keeping

OG18
has the strong OG odor that it should

very tall
out of twelve, most were too stretchy to consider but 2 or 3 phenos managed to string together a good size cola at the top so hopefully we can find a good one

she seems to fill in late but finishes strong

i intentionally got 2 packs of this one... figured id have more luck finding a keeper with good shape

its nice to see several strains going on the same nutes without any signs of nutrient imbalance across the board

all the genotypes seem to like what there being fed

I might have thought the DNA stuff would require more EC than the mandala satori but actually there all liking the low EC

the tallest is the lemon kush

all the LK pheno where super tall
they seem to yield good but most of the phenos (all but one) where kinda spongey soft and im aiming for hard nugs only
so I ended up only keeping the 1 phenol LK5 with the hard buds and they are very hard and chunky
the mother seems to like pruning recovering almost instantly and bushes out well so she might be one that responds well to topping 7 to 10 days before 12/12

the Sour kush had several nice phenos some leaning more toward the sour D smell and others more kushy many of them where again very tall... I ended up keeping the shortest one that was medium height and the main cola is donkey dick long

querkle
unfortunately it looks as thou all of my querkle females are space queen dominant and showing no signs of purple but that's ok the space queen phenos are rock hard and super sweet smelling and the purple isn't something im after but would be a bonus... maybe the querkle f2s might show some more variety

the OG#18 I started with 12 fem beans... I ended up with two really very nice looking plants that had nice heads of strung together colas that yield decent but the other 10 had good pot but where poorly structured.
unfortunately one of the two good ones failed to clone despite success on all the others and so I ended up with one keeper OG#18/10 which again turns out to be the shortest one of the bunch (happy happy joy) being medium height

the querkle stud has incredible vigor and bushy comparably so hopefully thatll pass on to the offspring
