It is done got that Skunky D coming picked up the Green crack s1
Awesome! Thanks for supporting Schwaggy Seeds.

would love to here a Schwaggy grow/smoke report on that GC
It is from HSO. Years ago, I used to get flowers from THE cut and it was a more sweet mango. The effect was all treble and didn't last as long as I would have liked. I tried a couple different breeder's GC and was blown away when this plant popped out. It has far more astringent acetone to the terp profile and a lot more bass to the treble. The effect is soaring with a strong body buzz that lasts for over 2hrs.

When I got this plant I bought many more packs thinking there had to be something better, and nothing was even close. I got a lot of the sweet mango and broader leafed phenos, but nothing with the buzzsaw high and strong solvent smell that carries through on the exhale. I have a hell of a time keeping her on hand because everyone wants it.
Green Crack S1- Day 14 of flower
Green Crack S1 - Day 21
Green Crack S1 - Day 29 ... I'm trying out Terpinator on this run
Green Crack S1 (one Green Crack CBD first row center-right) - Day 43

H.A. OG - Day 47

Chocolate Covered Strawberries F2 + GG4 - Day 27

CCS
GG4

Black Lights (Black Domina x NL#1) and Old School Hashplant (PNW HP x 88G13HP) table has been flipped a few days ago. Here is the lone Old School Hashplant that germinated.

Skunky Brewster dried just before hitting the jars and trim.
Green Crack S1 - Day 58 - just before chop

Next door tent with some more Green Crack S1 and a couple Chocolate Covered Strawberries. It's very nice to have an eight week sativa dom plant. These are the recipients of the DIY terpinator for comparison.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I missed the skunky d again. Oh well, you snooze, you lose.
Hey brother Schwaggy hope you have more coming out in the coming months.

You guys n gals on the fence about the haog bx should really grab em while you can. I saw a few plants from a pack at a buddies grow. One of them was a black triangle looking plant on steroids . Large yield for that kind of plant. According to my buddy they were slow in veg, and looked kinda weak, but then came the flowering and they all took off. I saw the plants at week nine of flower and they look stunning.

P1 She has taken my not so ideal environment and bland(low ppm) feedings in stride. No pissyness or fussing.Nice bud stackage.
20200215_212042.jpg P2- Fastest to start flower,no muss no fuss aside from this one leaf.
20200215_212054.jpg
P3- Stacking hard n thick. She's a lil fussy nd prissy. No adjustments made. The ugly leaf syndrome stopped there. All new growth has been lush.
20200215_212108.jpg
P4- THIS is the stank girl.I dub thee NECROSIS. Putrid, gagging stem rub. I haven't touched the others as this one is right near the door, easy access. Damn She's rank. A lil slower to stack as well.
20200215_212116.jpg
P5- The other fussy gal. She was one of the shorter ones at the beginning of flower-stretch. She is now one of the tallest.
20200215_212126.jpg
Finally,P6- Shortie Doo-Wop. My favorite structural and height-wise.

Apologies if this is a FAQ, but what is the male used for the Chem 91bx? I've had some trouble filtering that out from a search.

Gotta say...poking around looking for my answer was a pleasure though... so much great info in here. The scientist in you shows and I love hearing you talk about the thought process. Comparative pictures... good stuff! I've heard quite a bit of Schwaggy buzz and I just started looking around. 'Bout ready to pull the trigger on a buy already!

So my priorities are... QUALITY of buzz > Flavor > Yield > Raw knockdown power No objections to power at all. Just not my top priority.

I'm trying to decide between three freebie options... 91Bx , Chem Kesey/Xmas , or Skunky Va/Skunky D .

They all appeal to me for different reasons... I'd like to use my priorities as a tie breaker. I'd probably BUY the Afghan Skunk, What do you think?

There will probably be a small restock in the not too distant future. The HAOG BX and the Hell's Hypotenuse (HAOG x Black Triangle) both throw some heavy yielding OG, glad your buddy's enjoying it so far.

No apologies needed, here are the BX breakdowns from the recent offerings

Chem'91(skva)BX1 = Chem'91(skva) x Skunky VA(Chem'91(skva) x Skunky Brewster)
Chem D BX1 = Chem D x Skunky D(Chem D x Skunky Brewster)
(Green Crack S1)BX1 = Green Crack S1 x Schwaggy's Afghan Skunk(GCS1 x Granny Skunk)
HAOG BX1 = HAOG x Hell's Hypotenuse(HAOG x Black Triangle)

Thanks for taking the time to poke around and considering to carve out some garden real estate for Schwaggy Seeds.

I'll throw around some thoughts that will hopefully ease the decision.

Chem'91(skva)BX1
Quality of buzz – solid effect and duration. Not going to crush you but the remaining Skunky Brewster influence from the SkunkyVA father will add a more uplifting aspect to the Chem buzz.
Flavor – earthy, fuel, slight sweet/fuel/skunk from any expressed SkunkyVA influence
Yield – generous yield, the Chem91 yields well on her own, and the SkunkyVA can help the flowers with density.

Chem Kesey x Xmas Bud
Quality of buzz – depends on the pheno, ChemK is a very string buzzsaw effect that can be overwhelming and the Xmas tree has more classical indica relaxation/stone. How these intermingle and what you’d experience is pheno dependent.
Flavor – This is where this option shines, the Chem Kesey is earth/fuel/hash and the Xmas bud is sharp, nose stinging Pinesol.
Yield – yield is good

Skunky VA x Skunky D
Quality of buzz – Skunky D has become a personal favorite (has replaced the Chem D in my regular garden rotation) and the Skunky VA has a nice soaring component to her effect (some have commented she has great power).
Flavor – This will be an interesting fight between a berry/fuel skunk and an offensive, rotten, (actually skunky) skunk. The Skunky D gross smell doesn’t give a gross flavor, it tastes like an oily, mouth coating afghani that you’ll still taste after exhale.
Yield – yield is good, some Skunky VA leaners will branch more easily than the Skunky D. The Skunky D leaners will throw some baseball bats though.

So if I had to pick one option for each category:
Quality of buzz – Skunky VA x Skunky D
Flavor – Chem Kesey x ’79 Christmas Tree Bud
Yield – Chem91BX1

how have you found crossing with the 79' xmas bud to be? my only complaint with her was slow veg, no stretch, just takes a while to get a somewhat decent yield. When you cross it (looking like you used it for the dad) did you see the moms coming through quite a bit? is there any 79 xmas traits that seem to be common among the progeny? Thanks!

oh I tried your tips last night, and like I thought, your advice on pre dipping the brush (my wife is an esticician so I already, conveniently, have about 500 of those tiny disposable makeup brushes lying around she gave to me for this exact purpose :) ) and it worked SO well! one last question about that, does the 24hrs of darkness in the paper bags help the seeds set quicker than if they went right back to 12/12 or whatever your flower schedule is?

Thanks I appreciate it have a great sunday.

Totally agree about the Xmas bud growth characteristics. The Chem Kesey grows more like a vigorous lanky OG so the pairing was looking for mitigating either parents' growth pattern. The Chem Kesey growth comes through in the cross and the Pinesol carries on the profile. Of course you'll see Xmas leaners (it's been inbred for awhile so she can dominate) but you should find a nice compromise in a pack.

Awesome! After painting the pollen and covering with a bag, I keep the paper bags on the branch for about 5days (she just goes right back to the flower room with the bag on). Different plants will show different levels of seed development when the bag comes off. Some look very far along, others only have browned stigma. To deal with possible stray pollen, you can spray the branch with water after removing the bag to take care of any pollen that could go airborne (the pollination process will be done by now).

Sold! Just ordered the Afghan Skunk with the Skunky VA x Skunky D (along with some Eternal Sunshine from Bodhi). Thanks for taking so much time to write that out for me. That's a great summary right there.

Posted in Gens thread but reading thru the last few pages has solidified my decision to collect pollen from a smelly Chem D (91 Chem x Tres dawg) male I found in some older seeds
All the other males had similar structure but this dude stinks and I cant justify tossing him out with the rest. No idea what I'm going to with it yet. Maybe hunt thru a pack of Chem Kesey x ’79 Christmas Tree Bud for a nice girl?

I'm loving the genetics your with, Shwagg. This stuffs right up my alley.
