CK out the site Schwaggy has some good decriptions. Thanks DB @Schwaggy P

I forgot about these great descriptions. I am so used to not finding descriptions when looking for seeds, I guess I got lazy . Thank you for making it easy by providing a link though!
It has been a struggle for sure trying to find potent strains for growing outdoor in northern US. I wish more breeders would give detailed descriptions and provide outdoor finish times.

I haven’t run it, but damn if the genetics and this thread didn’t catch my attention. Plus, the bogo deal seems like quite a steal and I’m sure that glg with throw some freebies on top of it.

I have grown Skunky VA and it was an absolute delight. Fantasticaly strong fruity skunk with massive buds.

I think it would do very well outside in southwest ontario northern MI. Top it a lot to keep the mass a little more managble for rot.

I have found that Schwaggys Fine Seeds are well thought out...the genetics and effect because..Scwaggy is really about some funky buds. Devastating funky buds. I was so high this morning I forgot the other 2 i grew.

Schwaggy HAOG BX 2 is now in my top 2 favorite kush of what i have grown (LVTK being the other). A staggering strain of reckoning.

Rattlesnake Diesel X Black Lights (a freebie from his creations). very tasty...satisfying....I love this for daytime

I just dropped some Banana OG X Granny Skunk and Black Lights X Hash Plant.

Scwaggy is a MASTER of chem...i love his articualtion of how they were made, how they grow and what to do and he will let you know...WATCH FOR BALLS DOWN LOW etc

I recently traded some punch crosses I have for a couple of his greats. The green crack BX2 is going outside in a 25 :D I should start now !

Good to know! I am planning to start some Skunky VA for outdoor Michigan, but someone on another thread said to be careful of the chemdogs because they are prone to mold. Hearing your experience helps me to be more confident in my plan to run this. I will definitely be topping it though. I prefer to bend back the main stem and LST, but hard to argue with topping to reduce mold. Hard to find nice, potent strains for outdoor north. Thank you for addressing that in your post. Much appreciated!

Those are lookin nice, how's the nose?
None of the funk that’s advertised (yet). Still pretty early. If anything I’m getting hints of lime with a background of funkiness… No sweet and no fruit other than the lime. I’ll post closer to harvest to comment on the final smells of course.

My pictures never do anybody any justice, but these things are putting out lots of leaf resin for as young as they are. Two more so than the others

Please keep us in the loop on how they turn out.

How'd it go?! Any luck?! Looking to get back into some schwaggy gear after a bunch of bodhi.
Okay soo I’m just over 8wks on my Skunky Ds. Probably gonna take em to 60-65 days before chop.

Smells: nothing like the description. To be honest it’s kind of muted. Mostly a slight sour-ish thing… Although I had one friend smell them a couple weeks ago and she said “I can’t put my finger on it but they smelled gross“ *shrugs*
so it’s quite possible my nose is broken.

everything else about them looks good. Pretty fucking dense all the way down. No signs of intersex. And pretty frosty. Bud structure looks like every other Chem D hybrid I've grown (i.e long pistils, enlarged separated calyxes/bracts….whatever the correct terminology is) .

would I buy these again? No. But that’s not to say that I am mad about the results or putting down Schwaggys gear. In fact, I have something else of his popping right now (‘80s Black Afghani x Skunky Brewster). I’m still a fan. But this situation is also why I started buying multiples of packs in order to find “keepers”.

my photos always suck but here’s the best ones I took before giving up.

You are dismissing them without smoking them? You never know, one of them could be a real head spinner.
Thanks for posting them. I hope one of them ends up being a thumper.

So I just flipped eleven ‘80s Black Afghani x Skunky Brewster about a week ago. I loved the idea of this cross from the second I saw it announced; would’ve coulda shoulda - - bought more! Nonetheless, looking to do an F2 run if a male & female catches my eye.

So far, (5) Males, (4) females, (2) undeclared

Pictures will come in time. One male has a strange leaf contortion that I thought it will grow out of. Not sure if that’s a trait of either parents. He for sure has my eye so far.

IMHO @Schwaggy P is highly underrated, This thread is truly an absolute wealth of information. I have only grown one plant from his heart but that was absolutely phenomenal and it was given to me by a good friend. Fast forward a couple years I had to find out the lineage as it’s stayed in the back of my mind ever since. It was Skunky VA. Little did I know he has a thread on RIU that I’ve yet to come across. Now I’ve spent the last few hours and some of last night reading through this gold mine . I’ve only started using GLG for about a year now, and am always looking to see when his beans drop on there. Hoping I can acquire any and all Schwaggy seeds in the near future as everything, EVERYTHING you breed for, grow for are right up my alley, keep up the amazing work and hopefully you pop back up on here soon as o would absolutely LOVE to pick your brain.
