Science -- it's too confusing for the people

I think I've narrowed the issue down to the expressions "everyone is entitled to an opinion" and "everyone is special".

People seem to confuse "opinion" (which to me at least needs to be reasoned and logical) with "the first unprocessed random thought my emotions threw into my brain.

No matter how many lies the American government puts out about climate change misinformation, the truth is out there. Other governments are posting accurate statistics. Scientists and environmentalists are not going to stop because of this one government. Those that want to truth will find it. They will continue to fight against the lies. That brings comfort.

Only small minded assholes that want to buy into the trump propaganda machine are going to be swayed by this rhetoric. They're not the ones that are researching and inventing meaningful change.

I don't mean to be harsh but the people who voted Trump (and still support him) are both stupid and ignorant.

They're stupid because they obviously have absolutely zero critical thinking skills and theyre ignorant because Red States are just simply less educated.

It's literally just a case of they don't know any better and Trump dumbs down his agenda to something basic they can understand while liberal ideas (with their big fancy book words) are shunned as being difficult to understand or foreign/different.

When something is difficult to understand it becomes a source of anger and frustration because everyone thinks they're automatically the greatest person ever. So if they can't understand an idea they blame the idea.

I don't blame them for being that way because only education can elevate people and it's completely neglected by the right.
