SCROG 400w in Flower - Multi-strain - Second grow

Yesterday I went and got a $10 18" fluorescent t5, its small and only 15 watts or so but it will help get my seedlings started. but... I only have a space that is about 6" high. Should I continue to top them to keep em short? or should I try to build a new place where they will be able to grow.

you got 4 weeks before you harvest? you shud be gd without topping but thats up to you, I tend to not top seedlings, check out how the plant grows n then top the clones if the cola is small
That was before though, I tend to top all my clones now due to time issues n height

At least 4. I will harvest the first in 1 more week, maybe 2 but the rest will not be done for another 5 - 6 weeks, im hoping they will fatten up and mature before the seedlings flower. It should be about 2 weeks before I will be able to put them in the tent and pray that they don't start to flower.

Is there any issues with doing 12/12 for the first few weeks of veg for a seedling and then to 18/6? I dont have any space to veg these seedlings and my tent has to stay at 12/12

yes they will start to flower, if you then revert them back to veg timings the plants will go into reveg and your probaly end up with funny growth and likely hermies come flower time

just put that t5 light you got on and shove em in the corner, they shud be ok, imo you want a fluorescent for veg anyway, im not keen on using hps

I dont mean in the corner of the tent, I mean a corner of a room

Thats what im thinking i'll have to end up doing temporarily. I really would like to have a discrete place to put them as i have family coming next month to visit, but I may be able to manage keeping them out of my room completely. Anyways... i'll get on that sometime this week, right now they are in a drawer but in two weeks they will be taller than 5" with a small pot. I just hope this shit all works out or i'm gonna have to really conserve bud.

I'll update the others once they sprout, i'll document their growth as well.

Thanks for the input circuit37

DAY 37 FLOWER UPDATE

I wasn't able to update on saturday or yesterday like usual but i snapped some shots just before lights on, in fact the light turned on while I was taking some photos. I think I over fed on wednesday and they continued to yellow, today i watered with plain tap water (sat for 4 days or so) that was ph'd to 6.5 just before watering, I'm hoping this will offset some of the nutes in the soil.

i'm beginning to put ph'd ice on the oldest plants (autoflowering as well). I plan on cutting them down in about 12 more days, I feel that they will be well ripe by that time and full of cbd, which will give the indica stone i'm looking for.

pic #2 is by far the most mature and has had nearly all orange pistils for over 1 week now, I want to let it go 2 more weeks and see if the trich production increases any. the 1st and 3rd pics are of Pakistan ryder, very very resinous and has a strong smell of hash, earthy deep tones with a musky accent.

These are the 4 seedlings iv begun, unfortunately the yumboldt 47 looks to be dead and one PR has deformed first leaves (round ones). they won't open up.
With that being said, Pineapple Chunk and the other PR are looking great and will hopefully continue to develop well. I want to have only 2 or 3 plants for this next grow for ease of training and watering. Here's pics of the seedlings.

youve had a few problems with your flowering plants, I can see some yellowing n nute burn going on there. Those pots you got your seedlings in at the back are probaly a little to big to begin with, try to use 3inch cups from here in.
What soil n nutes you use n forgive me if ive asked before

im using FFOF for soil, earth juice grow and bloom, calmag+, molasses. It's definitely nute burn but only bad on the biggest plant, the rest seem to have lots of green growth still, I'll watch them carefully as we go throw week 6 of flower. this is about where my last grow was, in terms of how healthy the plant looked for being this far along. But these plants are about 2x as big.

Flower/Harvest Update Day 43 Flower

Here's an update of how the ladies are doing, the biggest girl is being stripped of her leaves, although I'm thinking I may only take her two more weeks before the chop, she has become very resinous in the past 2 weeks so I feel like she will be ready, but the trichs will tell for sure, The others are still laggin behind, one looks like it needs another 4 - 5 weeks! But they should all be done in 3 weeks w/ the exception of the plant just mentioned, she looks to be a high yielder with many colas, I just need her to fill out more and put on some weight. Enough with the talk, here are some pics.

The last 2 that will be picked are remaining relatively green which is nice to see, now they just gotta fatten up into some nice buds.

Here's a few shots of what I trimmed last night, I only took down about 70% and have left the smaller buds to fill out a little more, I'm gonna chop them all down next weekend.

And here's what my newest grow is looking like:

The new seedlings look great but I hope they can stay alive, I'v never had the problem that I'm having now, The oldest plants have been out from the soil for 12 days but their stems are weak as fuck! They began to fall over a few days ago so I put them into plastic bags since humidity here is low right now. The Pineapple Chunk has come back somewhat but the PR is even more droopy, what could be going on?

not 100% sure, soil looks a little dry for a seedling (the one which is drooping), you need some oxygen to get at them remember
if the stems are weak use a fan to strengthen them
also dont let the soil crack away from the edge of the pot like that, thats the quickest way to kill off the roots
mayb you just got one bad seed, a better picture would help

I chopped down two more autoflowers last night, Tonight i'll probably take down the rest of the first plant I chopped. i wanted to compare trichome production when given an extra week of flowering after being already mature. Here's pics of the two Pakistan Ryder that I took down, this strain is very resinous compared to the other plants i'm currently growing.

PR After trim (1).jpgPR After trim (2).jpgPR After trim (3).jpgPR After trim (4).jpgPR After trim (6).jpg

just some pics after they were trimmed up before hanging to dry. Quick question. Has any one noticed if their bud gets really orange hairs on organically grown bud but not so much on chem? cause both of my harvests have produced bud with very prominent orange hairs, much more and much longer than on any bud i'v ever purchased from a dispensary or off a dealer. I wonder if this is because of shipping/movement of nugs or if it has to do with it being organic.

@Circuit, I was thinking about letting her go longer but she has started to turn in color and i thought this was a sign that she was ripening, either way it should be some enjoyable smoke, I love the hashy/sweet smell it has given off thus far, im excited to see the development as curing takes place.

Thanks for hoppin on board jsamuel, enjoy the show.

Day 51 Flower Update:

Here's a few pics of the garden as of day 51 flower, they are entering into their eighth week, I think i'll be pulling the front left girl this friday or possible thursday. It may be early for her but i'm ok with a more sativa high, I have plenty of indica bud currently. The trichs are mostly cloudy right now, may 2-3% clear, 90% cloudy, 7-8% amber. The back plant will be finishing in two weeks a suspect but the front right is taking it's sweet ass time, it has just begun to bulk up. I'm not sure how much longer she'll take but i know i'll be cutting her earlier than her time due to new younglings taking her spot.

here's the pics

comments welcome and appreciated (constructive of course)

Depends what you like mate, if it were me I prefer mostly cloudy trichs over amber..

Nice lookin buds too man :D

I'm not even sure what I like yet haha I haven't grown enough to really decide nor do I have clones to practice with, but i will go til thursday right before lights on no matter what the trichs are by then.

Here's some shots from this morning, I was burping some the first buds harvested and put the rest into jars as they are dry to the 'snap'.
