Hey Nasty, keep in mind that the goal is to get as many bud sites exposed to light as possible so a couple extra weeks vegging is going to increase yield. Fill that screen bro and the buds will come.

thanks guys! and you guys are right. i did feel impatient but im gonna veg them until the screen is completely filled or mostly filled.

they are growing so fast!!

and also when training people always say they use ties to hold the plants down. i never used any ties or anything like that. i just made them grow sideways.. is that wrong>??

any thoughts? i was also thinkin that one reason i didnt need the ties was because of how low i put the screen.. but i have no clue.

they look like they are doin fine.. they grow like an inch a day haha..

Hi well I grow in soil so there might be a slight difference in times but should be similar. There are many different opinions on when to start topping and I'm sure they all work well. I like to begin topping usually when the plant reaches a foot tall(about 1 month). The plants are strong enough to take it and still small enough to control upward growth. It also doesn't seem to stunt or slow growth once you've reached that age. Some say you can start as soon as you're plant has sufficient nodes(within a week or two) but I just like to make sure my plant is strong enough for the stress. Healthier plants produce healthier clones. Hope this helps

I've read that depending on how short you keep your plant, a Screen for the Scrog method should be kept between 12-18 inches from the base of the plant. If you're only topping one of your plants, you should think about making a screen only for that one plant, because the other plant may still grow through the screen, and if the screen keeps your plant down, there's a chance it will lift the screen causing your other plant to lose its structure
dude what are you talkin about use it only for one plant are u stupid? use it for both of them

its comming along very nicely. i have heard of people lollipoping their plant the week befor flower but thats all up to you. the reason for that is so all the buds up top use all of the plants energy instead of wasting it on lots of smaller buds on the bottom. look it up. how tall are you gonna let them grow above the screen before you go 12/12?

Lol there are a lot of "high" comments on this forum. Anyway nice grow man i like the screen so far, and ya i follow wolfscotts scrog to and his PLANT looks fucking amazing i drool everyday, my next scrog will be a 600 hps so hopefully i can get something like that. When do you plan on starting flower? i just started like a weekish agoand i was also woundering when to cut lower leaves but i think its more on preference, and how the plant is growing. Maybe just try taking a little at a time that my plan, less stress = happy plant :)
