Its up to light you have and how much area that can handle. What light are you using? A good rule of thumb is to have at least 50 watts per square foot for flowering.

Just count the watts you have or will have by flower time. Not the equivalent wattage the actual wattage. Then divide that number by at least 50 (50-80 or so) and then make your screen that many square feet.

good questions, when the screen is 70% full is when you want to switch into flowering because of the stretch, LST and FIM/TOPPING are good ways to train before scrog but you can grow in scrog all its life :D, also good way to get big colas from scrog is to let them be about 6-7 inches above the screen after stretch this will allow bud build up to create big colas.. OK now im just rambling lol, hopefully i was some help, happy growing!

why LST when scrogging? the screen is the LST. too many slow-downs for plant, grow yer choice branches up to the screen, and lead them all over the screen. top after screen, only to keep canopy level. to slow down leaders that pull ahead of the pack.

This is the first round with these genetics i take it. During the first 2 weeks of a Scrog grow, the plants are trained underneath the screen. Then at 2 weeks the undergrowth is stripped and the plants are allowed to grow up through the screen. Your plants should show sex before the 2 weeks is up. You can and should definitely get rid of males as soon as they are identified. If u labeled your clones you can throw away the ones that came from the removed males. If it takes you longer to identify them it will most certainly be more difficult to remove them from the screen. So i would suggest flowering them as soon as they are ready. If you have grown them from a seed, make sure they have matured enough to be able to flower. The plants will be longer and lankier due to the fact that they came from a seed. Your next scrog will be better off with a little training and all females. Keep with it though. It is by far the best way to get the most of your space!

i don't do it for thanks. i do it so young folks think for themselves, and learn how to find shit out.

okay. you grow to screen and 2" through, start training. leave room between pot and screen to work. when you reach the screen.....start scrogging, and don't think in terms of time. too much variance
