So heres my idea...

400w hps
3x3 tent
2x2 scrog net
1 plant in a waterfarm using Lucas Formula

What if I were to veg for like ever and completely fill the screen and then let them go verticle a little bit, maybe 2"-3". then kick them into flower with a respectable amount of Bushmaster. could i sorta create a one plant scrog sog? what do u guys think? i havnt dropped the bean yet as im waiting for my last few to finish up. It will either be a Purple #1 or a Jack Herer.

It works. I've done a similar grow. I attached a 36"x36" screen above a 10 gallon pot. The screen was attached to the pot with vertical wood dowels. The plant was topped twice prior to going into the 10 gallon pot. I trained the branches into the screen as in a normal scrog settup. I did not need to use the Bushmaster, as this strain had very little stretch. Most strains would need a little Bush. The nice thing about what we did was that we had 12 of these plants, and each could be moved around because the screen was a part of the pot. This allowed us to roll the plants around for watering. Good luck. It works great. BUT, keep in mind, all other things being equal, several small plants will almost always yield more than one large plant.

Hi all, You folks know what you are doing so I ask you.. my first post here.
I have read up a bit on scrog and sog so I understand the basics but I have a question regarding veg time with scrog. What would happen if I put 2 week old clones directly into 12/12 knowing they will shoot up for a short period before they bud? My guess is they wouldn't fill the scrog very well. OK but what if I planted more sog style with say 3 plants per sq. foot? ..Or what ever it would take to fill the screen. I want to maximize the harvest per growing time. My hopes are to eliminate a separate veg room and the time in veg. And get all the benefits of a scrog. Is this remotely possible?
Thanks! Any advice would be most helpful.
