Scrog , Mainlining or...? (for 2x2 tent)

Hello, I'm at my second grow, I have 3 pots (7.5 liters rounded pots each) in a 2x2 tent. which training process would you suggest me to do? I've read about lst+top and mainlining.. Or because i have 3 plants in small space would be better to just leave them grow naturally?

Yeah, if your trying to grow three plants in such a small space any advanced training is unnecessary. Your going to need to flip to flower too early to really take advantage of techniques like mainlining or SCROG. IMO anyways.

I'd probably do a little LST since I'm guessing your tent is also not super tall. What strain are you growing?

Honestly, if I was growing in that space I'd do one plant and either SCROG or top/LST it to fill the space or grow 4 plants in 1 gallon buckets and flip at like 2 or 3 weeks veg, but that just personal preference. Everything in between seem like a pain the ass to me haha.

FYI there's no 100% correct answer to your question. Personal preference plays a big role for everyone. Letting them grow naturally your first grow isn't a terrible idea. You'll learn a lot about the plant. But small grows can be tough with some strains if you just let them go.

I did a 2 plant scrog in my 2x2 last round. An even canopy in any tent makes the most of space and light.
The main problem with a multiplant scrog is if one is done, or needs to be removed, its an assache

@Gentlemencorpse thanks man, yes probably best idea for this first grow (2nd actually but was long time ago), will go for just LST to see how it feels like. Also would love to have a not too long harvest so wuld like to avoid long vegetative phase therefore avoid topping.

got 2 sativa dominant (lemonkush headband) and 1 dominant indica (pineapple skunk)

and how about the 4plants option? that doesnt include any sort of training?

yes you are right not much height available

@Boatguy thanks for sharing, that was helpful, might be a great option for future

Alittle bending and tying down makes a big difference. Just keep it simple

Those sativa's are probably be gonna need a little LST with your space, they will stretch!

And yeah, the 4 plant option is kinda like running a sea of green. Can grow a full plant in 1 sq ft or less. But it's not gonna give you massive yields. Just a fun way to turn around a quick harvest. I just did one with 9 plants in a 32"x32" tent under a 315 CMH to use up some older seeds. Planted them right around around March 1st and most of them look like they will be ready next week or shortly thereafter. There are definitely some drawbacks though. Those little pots dry out quickly and I ran into soil pH issues because the nutrients build up so much quicker than I'm used to.

y the 2 sativa start stretching since seedling but might be also because of the light distance.
