Which one is which?

Assuming your using hortitrellis? Rigid materials work well for maintaining support (IE. fence etc.). Once colas begin to develop weight enough to tower over, a secondary trellis using the nylon web (hortitrellis), works wonders! No ties, easy on and off. (keep in mind however* if you cut away your web at the end, it chances leaving nylon fibers in your finished product. NOT FUN TO SMOKE OR CONSUME!)
