looks cool man i grow with a hps, but i went out and bought some t5 fluorescents yesterday cause of all the good things i see with fluorescent. i never really payed much attention to lst either but thats pretty awsome, does that have a big impact on your yeild?

yes all of those branches (tops) that are tied down will become main colas :) so instead of having one... you will have multiples thus increasing the yeild i have 162 WATTS think thats enough?? considering my other grow lol hopefully this one will explode since its got a LOT of light to itself

Love it. How big is your grow area? Is it just one plant? I am trying out a CFL grow also with 460 watts worth of CFLs (20 assorted cool white and daylight bulbs, all 23 watts each).

People hate on CFLs, but they can grow good bud in tight spaces! I think people are prejudiced against them just because they are fluorescent, and people think back to the days of straight tube shop lights.

things lookin good man. ill post some pics of my pc grow on here if i get a chance. you have enough light and just keep it as close as possible. i have 69 watts of cfl and there ony 2 inches above my plants and my case runs from 70 to 82 degrees when its running. im liking the lst,i myself love lst and do it to all of my plants. i actually did 2 plants in my pc case without lsting and really wish i did. ill be watching. subscribed bro:joint:

Dude twice the number of lights as ur last grow so I'ma guess its gunna be twice as big of a yield dude. And that shits crazy just using nothing but daylight spectrum. I seen the last one and that was sick lets just hope it turns out like last time or better man.

Take a look at my grow man I took mine out after the weather didn't permit and its under 3 cfls and its getting nice buds all 3 are the 2700k soft whites I don't feel like mixing the spectrums and such plus none funds to spend on lights anyway.

pce keep on keeping on dude

Hey scwascwa, have you ever considered kicking up the lumens? You could replace the 27w with 55w or even 65w. The 55w put's out 200w, the 65w, 250w. I believe your 27's put out 100? BTW, I saw on the other tread how the haters tried to bulldoze you. There are a lot of clowns in here that have nothing better to do than start arguments with ill informed ideas.
Hang with the positive folks and your time spent on RUI will be rewarding.
I wish you good luck & good grow........BB

Looking good man. Nice job on the lst.

Those 6500K's might be doing the job now, but your gonna need the 2700k's when you hit full bloom man.

Still though, i'd like to see how it turns out with 100% 6500K all the way through lol.

thats what im saying. but we all do need to remember that marijuana grows near the equator too, and the sun really dosent move so the light spectrum dosent change. so hypotheticaly there really isnt a requirement for 2700k lights. just think about this makes me want to use all kinds of bulbs for my grow. i do have a mixed spectrum of blue and red 2 to1.5 lol, but im sayin im thinking of throwing a incadescent yea i said it incadescent in there because i was reading that they put of small amounts of uv. ne input out there?
