hey so im doing sog. those are my setups.

2 x 41 qt trays custom made to flow and overflow.
1 x 36 gallon tub (nut tub)

1000 watt hps over each system.

i had a bunch of extar plants, so im testing them in the pebbles and here is the pic of one of them. it got owned.


My questions are what should i water everyday? how often and for how long...

are the lights too close ?

im trying really hard man. i spent alot of time on this, so when i had thos eextra plants to test im just putting htm in after another and they keep dying so ill keep putting htem in until i have the ight formula. i think my watering is definatly not correct.

and i will be putting the clones in directly after 2 weeks of rooting. the clone roots are exellent.

he has how to setup a room. not so much what the watering schedule is like.


3-4 times a day for how long ? and that would only be every 8 or 6 hours. seems low. anyone else ?

Dude, i flood my tray twice daily. Once in the morn and once at night. I get away with it for two reasons.

1. rockwool
A. rockwool hold water very well. I have a 6" cube of it set in clay pellets. My roots are two feet long and very healthy.

2. evolution
A. your plants get used to a schedule. They will adapt to the cycle you set. Every plant is different and different strains have different limitations. If youre watering three times a day id say 10-15 min per. It really depends on your set up; drip, ebb/flow....? As well as your medium?

I think youre over watering the little guy....i mean girl sorry. Its a judgment call, you should be ale to feel the medium, if its still wet hold off until its just moist.

I just harvested my SOG system and I watered 6 times daily for 2 minutes each cycle. I was also using rockwool which has incredible water retention.

im currently using rockwool to root them. i dont have the 6" cubes. i could get them. would i be able to fit the smaller inside the bigger one ?


i lik eall of your guys ideas, next time i will get the 6" rockwool, the water retention makes a huge differenc, shoulda though about that.

i but 3 more test girls in the tubs, this time i will not be watering until morning or night. ill see and keep you updated.

clones from a blueberry mother. i got the watering down i think. i turn on the lights at 12pm and water when turned on. then it floods 3 more times until the lights turn off. and at night i flood 2 times to keep moist and fresh.

i am taking pics. so far after 1 night and today they are doing well. SURPRISINGLY.

The water schedule sounds fine, but personally I wouldn't water at night because the plants don't need it, but it doesn't hurt.

im taking a pssc 101 class and i interpreted in my own way that leaves store nutrients, hence the more they take up the more would go the buds. im not sure if they just regurgitates or maybe causes leaf damage but i am watching these things every half hour.

also hence for the nutrient question, if it doesnt help then i will stop because it will be decrease potency of feed.

i just got a DUI. i am not spending money on shit. i have had the worse luck with everything expect with this. its actually funny.

if you want to fund me for some ill gladly accept.
how should i got about implementing co2 ?

and what else should i do guys ?

co2 is only if you have a air tight room right? mylar will save your lumens form getting wasted witch will = nicer buds
cheap only 20$ a roll of 25'

yep. they are doing well. no apparent signs of serious problems. the watering is fine and the lights are at a good distance. ill keep ya updated. anyone have more ideas ?
