does anyone know how many plants i should put under a 600 watt? im going to try the scrog and the sog side by side under a 600 watt hps. the tables a 3.5x4. any suggestions would be appreciated.

1 gram per watt is not some sort of magic rule, or limit that cannot be broken. It's just the mark of a fairly good grow. You can get more, or less, depending on your setup etc.

1 gram per watt is pretty hard to attain in my opinion. I would put 4 plants per sq/ft in 6" square pots. flower them when they are about 10" high. so in your table there would be 56 plants.

ok.....i know that its not a magic fucking rule what im asking is when people refer to that "mark of a fairly good grow" are they refering to the wet or dry weight.......

your best result will b 1 grame per wat so 600 g would be your result

To answer your question however, gpw is usually measured as dry weight. It's not an accurate way of comparing grows anyway, since some people dry more than others, and also, nobody seems to take watts used in vegging into account.
