Sea of green vs scrogg

Yield is directly related to how long you veg for and how big your plant gets.

Sog and Scrog are pretty much the same thing. That's not gonna effect your yield per say, but it will effectively even your canopy and depending how even it is, that will effect your yield vs popcorn lower bud sites.

It's all about time. If you got the time and root space, the longer you veg, the more you get. Period. Training is a good way to make the most of your available space. The last thing you want is a fucking Christmas tree.

The grow boss on YouTube breaks it down in the most lamen terms possible. Watch a video of his and he will tell you the difference and why people tend to chose one or the other

Also, to add to the person above,..SOG style grows are definitely better for trying out several different strains until you find your favorite couple or w.e. Lots of reasons why to choose one or the other, I think I commented about it in a different post, but I’m just trying out scrog for the first time. Before I was doing SOG style grows bc I was trying to figure out which strains worked best for me and for my rooms...like most probably, I’m set on good indica leaning hybrids for indoors, hence why now I’m working on less plants, more aggressive training (a.k.a. SCROG)

SOg and SCrog will achieve about the same result if done well.. with sog you can lower the veg time while scrog will require longer veg but lower plant count.. this should matter in both legal and non legal state or country..

Yield will be impacted much more by the light you use than if you sog or scrog.. see what fits best for you, what you are trying to achieve, etc..
