Thanks Cerbus those were great tips very helpful. I was thinking the ac would take out enough humidity but you answered that nlxsk1, thank you. I have a humidifier i will just throw that in there too.

Anyone have good ideas on sealing a door? I'm kinda having a problem making it air tight. Also I am using a carbon filter as a scrubber. Is it better to suck air in through the carbon then out trhough fan or through fan and pushed out through the carbon filter?

get a zipper (5' long and zips from both sides of the track, good grow stores will have them) and zip it closed. duct tape it to a tarp, (right down the middle of the tarp) with duct tape on either side of the zipper, not down the middle, (you wanna be able to unzip the thing). now take your tarp and seal it around the edges of the door jam with more duct tape and maybe some staples, and make sure its on the non swing side of the door, or so the door does not swing into the tarp. now unzip the zipper and cut the tarp.
you should have: a piece of tarp acting as your seal, the zipper duct taped to the tarp (sealed) all on the discreat side of your closed door. if your door swings into the room, take the hinges off and make it go the other way ;)

good luck bro

sorry no time for spell and grammer check, if its in alien ill fix it later ;)

Thank You, that is a great idea! I was using alot of duct tape and caulk. I think they sell them for boats when they are shrink wrapped too, might be cheaper.

or left over panda plastic from doing the walls and celing of your sealed room. I always make sure I get enough panda plastic to do all 4 walls and the ceiling. but, yeah, thats from a lot of frustraiting times trying to "air tight" a fucking interior door.. lol

Scuba,

so i was do some research on the CO2 topic, since not having a ceiling didnt make sence to me.. As far as i know everything has a limit before it becomes toxic, water, food, ect.. So as i looked into it, you can over feed with Co2, but its not a nute burn effect. The plants get so much available Co2 that their stomas close up, which is how they breath and transpire. when the stomas stay closed to long the leaves droop and turn yellow. the numbers seem high for this to happen but certanly not immpossible.. with 400 ppm being about average, 1500 ppm beaing ideal and somewhere around 3000 ppm becomes toxic to the plants..

new info, and I wanted to correct my earlier statement.

peace

if u r set up in a cge with co2 for perpetual grows to harvest every two weeks, how to u get the last plant to finish without dropping co2, i dont understand how a cge would work perpetually if u have to drop co2 for the last couple weeks which would cause the younger plants to grow slower or not at the rate they could b if they had 1500ppm
