Second attempt at seed run.

As you may know if you followed my last kush van stich auto seed project thread my idea did not work out do to all my regular seeds being female. I have acquired a few more beens to try the project out again, i am having better results so far.

1 auto northern lights (male) (crop Kings) bought a pack of fems from them and 2 came out males so that is where the male came from.

2 skunk auto (female) (speed seeds)

2 freeze berry auto (female) (big head seeds)

I decided to top one of the skunk autos early and that one decided no to auto like the rest of them..
Stress related? not sure what caused it but who knows.

Here are a few pics of whats going on now.

I don't think the seeds will be stable or if they will even be auto I am just experimenting.
My plan is to harvest this seeds and breed them again and again until i get something interesting.

The male is dropping pollen like crazy.

So Im very new. But what I gather is that you are keeping the male in there to pollinate the fems and harvest your own auto seed of some new interesting strain? If so when you do this is it true that approximately 50/50 come male or fem? Should be interesting to watch.

I believe that 50/50 is an accurate assumption. however I do not think that they will be autos right away only a small percentage, from what I have gathered is that you need to take these seeds and breed them again, then again choosing the best fems and males each run, (ie, the ones showing auto characteristics) after doing this 4 or 5 times the auto flower characteristic percentage would be much higher.

It will take a while but that is the plan for now, I have also just ordered some other strains that I will be attempting The colloidal silver method for breeding female autos. Headed to the store soon to pick up supplies to make my own colloidal silver solution.
