Second Closet Grow.

This is my second time around. My last grow started as a hobby and as it progressed it became a full time job. I started 3 seeds and all turned fem. Then cloned 5 and at the end had 8 healthy female plants, all in which yielded at least an ounce[28grams]. It was a incredible learning experience and has prepared me for my next attempt. This time i will be growing from a seed that cam from a friend. The bud was extremely dank although its name isn't known, it has a strong smell and taste of bubble gum and is very light green. I was going to make this grow hydro but decided ill take another run with soil to be on the safe side. Here's some information...

Room size:
length- 4 1/2 ft.
width- 5 ft.
height- 10 ft

Soil:
Miracle grow [leftover :/]

Water:
Distilled, [ph up/down]

Light:
Vegetation- two 48in shop light flourecents
Flowering - 400w HPS

Nutrients:
Fox Farm Grow, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom

other supplies
-cloning gel- takeroot shaultz
-water trays
-fans
-spray bottle
-cloning tray
-molasses
-CO2
-Timer
-Water pump

thats really inspiring man i have two going now and am hpoing to get around qp when im done but i will have clones and what not but do you ahve the link to your grow journal?

I started a journal for my last grow but was way to lazy to keep it going, there are some pics on there of the 3 mother plants growing and some of the clones i took off, i have a ton of flowering pictures and im smoking the bud right now actually, there is nothing better than smoking a blunt of some shit you grew yourself let me tell you. Ill try and putt up some of the pictures if i get a chance, at the moment im kinda.

Germination day two
december 15, 2008

Today is the second day that the two seeds i placed between the moist paper towels and both have begun to show the tip of the taproot. I can't explain how excited i was to see it. With it being a couple hours since i last checked they have probably progressed. Within a couple days they should be rady to be placed into soil!

Id share some photos but at this point theres not much to look at.
another update will be posted tomorrow.

i envy you, i need a stonger hps so bad but right now i just can afford to spend $$$$ on it, an intake and exahuast really are going to increase the potency of your bud, its a struggle for me to get fresh circulating air because im using a closet right now but you gotta work with what you got am i right?

I put the two seeds into small pots and placed in a cool dar place with no light until i see a sprout pop out

Sup Jim! hey man I just read the first page and we have much in common! I've grown in soil(MG)a few times and went to hydro, I veg with shop lights and flower with 400w HPS, and of course grow in a closet! yeah..... after a couple soil grows you'll have a better shot at hydro, anyways GROW ON!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, practice makes perfect. I want to begin hydro so bad but im still a little intimidated on the whole process. I mean i pretty much know all about it and how to do it but idk something is just holding me back. I think me next grow will go hydro for sure.

Trust me, it's not that hard. As long as you take care of them(which you do) you'll be fine. there is a intimidation factor but like I said, having growing experience is priceless. I'm on my second go at hydro, my first I used General Hydroponics Flora Series. So today both of the seeds a iput in soil a couple days ago have popped up from tho soil and now they sit under a low flourecent light that will be on most of the day.
I think i might harvest the three plants i still have going because im going to need some more room. Ill post some pics tomorrow.

Well its been nine days since my last update. not much has happened. Im finally finished with my last grow. Cleaned out the grow area today. looks good as new. Cant wait for the next grow. Theyre getting there.

Alright so Ive been "busy" or lazy rather and havn't updated this thing in a long time. A lot has happened since my last posts. The two plants that were little seedlings have become quite big. Although one has outgrown the other by far, but only because Ive been too lazy to pick up soil to transplant it. She still looks healthy for being in such a small pot but its making her growth take a hault. Ill be going out later tonight to get supplies for transplanting AND cloning. The other plant has be a beauty to watch grow. She looks healthy and bushy and lovin life.

By the way Im calling them girls because for some reason both are showing sign of sex, being the two white pistols between the branch nodes and main stalk. The big girl has em' about 5 branches from the top of the plaint. They have the hairs but arn't in the flower stage.

Is this normal?

I was also wondering if anyone could help with some information about cloning.
Ive seen set ups the have the clones in a resivour using air stones to provide oxygen
Does anyone have pictures of theyre set ups or how to make one?

Ill be posting pictures of them in a few days because i dont have a camera
