Hey all, happy 420!!! This will be my second grow, unfortunately I had to stop my first grow. I am using bag seed again. I will have some plants in soil and others in a homemade hydroponics system. I will have updates hopefully everyday and I will try and answer all the questions.

Germination of the bagseed:lol:



Now pick the ones you want to grow.



Put them somewhere dark and gets no air movement.



I use the 2 paper towels method.I find that this works best. (because its the only method Ive tried.)





 
Here is the home-made hydroponic system I am using. The water temp is 66F. The system can hold up to 12 plants.The lights I'm using are just Daylight CFL's . I only have 2 of them now...but I don't need more till the seeds pop.
As you can see I have bamboo and lettuce, these are just "test plants" they are doing great.:leaf:
See my attempt at make a circular reflector piece failed, so went out and just bought them haha










 
I believe I can get this grow done by the end of June, including harvest... 3½ weeks veg hoping so :leaf:
 
DAY 2 April 21,2009
I was only germinating 6 seeds and this morning I put about 8 more. Hopefully some of them will crack by tomorrow.
 
its going to be long after June. Most plants take 7-9 weeks to flower. And thats if their Indicas, if Sativas then they take even longer
 
Forsure. Really though, the plant will let you know when its ready. Thanks for checkin out my grow.

Hopefully you get a good germ rate, waiting for them to pop is the boring part, then it gets fun :D
 
Just returning the favor, hopefully we will fill up the seats here :leaf: . I just checked the seeds and none of them popped unfortunately,well just have to wait hahah
 
yeah sometimes it takes a few days. For me, it took 4 days once. But if they pop a day or two after you start germing, then you now theyre gonna be good. That doesnt mean your plants will be bad if they dont though haaha
 
True. I have the seeds germing in the "book" and some in a cup of water... When I got home I wanted to try it and looks like one of the seeds has a stem already, this is within hours... Here are just a few pics of the system, I added 2 long air stones. They put out a lot of oxygen :P

Checked this morning and 3 seeds have popped , I am going to wait for them to grow bigger stems or when I get home Ill put them into the "Super Started Plugs"

When I got back from school, I peeped at the seeds and found that 3 more seeds popped. Here is a pic. After this post I will put them in the "Super Starter"



 
that paper towel looks a little dry. Spray them with some water. Let us know how it goes with the rapid rooters

Well picked 3 of the seeds that were ready to grow. I will let the other get a bigger stem. These are going to be hydroponic.



























 
ahahahaah, I think I'm going to let the tomato plant stay. I have become attached to it :P . I wet the paper towels and I notice 2 more seeds popped but the stems aren't very big. I did how ever take a seed and plant it in some soil in my terrarium, well see how that goes... I have 6 seeds that cracked remaining in the towels and maybe about 12 overall. Im pretty excited about these plants and hope it is a great turnout.
