Tent only with no intake fan, just 3 small wal mart fans for circulation. My first video in my thread shows my entire set up

Having the filter outside the tent kinda defeats the purpose of having a filter.

How is that? If the filter is put to where the last thing the air goes through is the filter, why wouldn't it work?

It would be hood or cool tube > inline fan > filter > room

If the filter does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't smell anything coming from it right?

Keep in mind the airflow is significantly decreased when placing the filter after the inline fan (for me airflow cut down by almost half), so make sure you test out the setup first.

That could be true, personally I don't intend to test it, my set up is dialed in to my liking. I was just saying that a carbon filter will do it's job in that set up, which is filter the bud smell.

this is all the equipment i just bought
1 x 600w complete grow light (Star Ballast, Sylvania Grolux Dual Spectrum Lamp and euro reflector) 600w ~ 92,000 Lumens
1 x 100mm Vents TT inline extract fan
1 x 100mm carbon filter
5m x 100mm flexible ducting
3 x ducting clamps
1 x set of easy roll light adjusters to hang reflector from
2 x Blue Spectrum 250 watt 8U 6400K E40 CFL Grow Light Bulb both with reflectors for vegging
1 x tempreture meter
1 x moist and ph meter
1 x biobizz bio-grow
1 x biobizz bio-bloom
1 x ph up/down
1 x digital plug timer

The tent is a DRS 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m mesurement

well i will be join the dr120 club very soon. checked online and hydro stores near my house and no1 can beat 625 for complete set up so im driving where the deal is.ganna have some cash left over so i will renew my 215 card. life is lookn better. ganna try that perputual grow since i will have the dr60 to veg an1 think i can get a qp every 2 weeks with a 600 flowering tent?

Yeah, you just want to make sure you are sucking the unfiltered air thru the filter so you get rid of the smell. Maybe I'm just stoned and reading you wring, LOL! Mine all sits inside the tent: Carbon Filter > Inline Fan > Hood > Vent Out
Oh and like chrisbtx said, you want a good fan of course because you will significantly reduce your CFM's by pulling everything thru one fan. Works for me and a lot of others though.

Here is the next update. I am 3 days into flowering now. I took 5 clones.

She is already getting way bushy and I have had to tie her down some.
While i was trying to tie down the main stem, it split right down the middle but it didn't break off.

So I wrapped some twine around where it split to hold it together. that was 5 days ago, so I think its safe to assume that there was no permanent damage done just judging by the leaves. They are still green and healthy, and still growing

i have a dr100 not built up yet, but have 2x home box xl's currently in use.
each running a 600hps with 6" cf and fans on component fan controllers.
also use a 4" inline for intake.
temps lights out are 21.5 max and on is 25, having humidity issues at mo tho running high at 62%.
have 8 plants in each in bio bizz all mix soil, and using bio-grow, bio-bloom and topmax.

Well just got a 4oo watt hps. ganna be growing white widow this time. just picked up 2 clones.Any ideas on how long to veg this strain you a cool yield? Im in a dr60. Ganna try my hands in some lsting,fim,top stuff this tie around will post pics later. Hi all! I'd like to join the club. I won't be able to post pics till Monday. My phone is my only source of Internet right now. But I have a dr60 with a 400w mh in it. I love it but it's so hot!! I have trouble keeping the temps below 84 with the A/C ducted directly to the dark room!

Plant looks good and healthy though!

This is why I've just picked up a 250. I knew a 400 would be way too hot.
Also, did you know that a 250w ballast is the same price as a 600w ballast? Can you believe that shit?

It's 88 in my darkroom now. I have ac ducting directly into it with 3 fans!!! It was 90 with no fans or AC. 2 degrees loss for $100 WTF am I doing wrong? How are people keeping their temps at 75-79?

How can I test cfm of fans that have an unknown value to me?

Can you give us a little more detail about your setup. It is obvious that your intake is coming from the AC ducting, but what about your outtake. Is that passive? or do you have a blower pulling air out?
It sounds to me like your putting air in, but it is not coming back out fast enough. Also, what is the AC temp set to on the thermostat?
