Seed - reliabilty of sellers

Has any one expereinced the fact that sometimes the seeds puchased could possibly be just junk seeds?

I have read all the seedbank reports and have purchased from good relaible sources, but the plants never turn out the way the adverstisment indicated. And I paid good prices too,, buying the top grade.

God Bud from Sensi Seeds was a waste
White Widow was trash from Hemcy Seeds
Afghan from DNA was a freaking joke....as I gave it away
LA Confidentials was far less that Mattso indicated it's strenght on Skunkskool.
Sour Cream from DNA was good, but clones aren't

Reviewing Greenhouse Seed (from National Geographic) are seeds with less that good THC potency.

I know that there are a lot of outside sources that effect the plant and it's growth, but I am to the point that I think purchasing seeds is a TOTAL RIP OFF.

Any one else had this experience?

out of all of the strains that you listed there, the only one that i grew out was the sour cream from dna.. i didn't get mine as a freebie though, i bought the whole pack of non femmed beans from the tude.. and i have to say that the plant was pretty damn dank.. good yeilder of some steller bud.. a nice mix of indica and sativa stone, that everyone who tried it, came back for more..

I can vouch for the Joint Doctors Easyryder and Lowryder #2...they can take a tremendous knocking and still produce really good weed easily for a new person.

Racerboy71 -Thanks for the response. Yes - I guess I did have a strong response from others who tried my Sour Cream, but I was anticipating that it would stronger. I moke a lot and prefer only top grade, so I was disappointed as I thought it would be stronger.

Ive had nothing but great experience with seeds from various breeders purchased through attitude, only the church from greenhouse was a total joke,but most everyone knows about that...

i've had the la con and it was some serious shit. it came from a dispensary in cali so i don't know if their op was more fancy than yours or what, maybe just a clone from a different pheno. if you are buying pick and mix seeds then that is the problem right there. growing out a single seed or two of a strain is not going to give you the best sample. you need to grow out a few of the strain, pick the best one, and go from there to get the best idea of the strain's potential. that being said i am always suspicious of seeds that don't come in a breeder's pack. this goes for pick and mix and freebies. for all i know it's just a random bagseed, so there may be something to your conspiracy theory.

If possible always cough up the cash and buy a pack of the strain you want, find what breeders you like and trust and stick with them, Im for sure leary about new breeders and just how stable their genetics may be, but ya never know until you try them out. Personally I trust attitude not to be handing out random seeds in place of the real thing, just wouldnt be good business and any half way experienced person could tell at some point during the grow, maybe not until middle flowering, but you could tell. Ive never grown confidential, but I also ran into some at a dispensary awhile back and it was great on every level. I know Ive seen a few journals about dna's strain, cant remember any sort of negative comments, I know it sold out relatively fast from attitude, but I dont have any personal experience growing it.

Yeah I have good reviews for Nirvana as well, I had a few seeds with some issues out of reg pack of 10 rasberry cough, I just mentioned it to them so they knew and they had another order to me in 13days from the time I first emailed and got the ticket confirmation. I wish they had a bigger selection but as far as what they do have, customer service and shipping, they are a very respected and reliable bank to use. Ive mainly used attitude, but also nirvana a few times during specials, also dr. greenthumb a couple times and Ive never had any instance of not getting my beans. Overall Attitude is my clear favorite for multiple reasons but Ive also had a great experience with Nirvana, earned alot of my respect when they instantly replaced my whole order because of 5damaged beans, super cool of them, cause after they ship it they cant help if it the package gets damaged. So I will always recommend both for shear reliability, no worries about getting ripped off in any way.
