Hey @curious2garden, just curious what is the reason cuts cannot be traded?
I'm not sure. I'd just be speculating.

Nah my fail on that. You can trade and sell snips, cuts, clones of non-cannabis LOL was gonna delete but realized I'd just do it again! So I'm leaving the clarification for non-cannabis

No that's in the Cannabis family, sigh..... see and that is where we get to no clones, cuts or snips because I wasn't awake enough to say it's ok to make with the flying tomatoes
Got to be some type of liability issue. Seeds and equipment are almost impossible to regulate from a legal perspective, but this is an international forum and laws surrounding MJ vary widely depending on location, and are in a state of almost constant flux atm. If people here where found to be promoting illegal manufacturing/distribution of ban substances it could spell trouble for the platform at large. It would be impossible for moderators to keep up with all legal information and and place varying restrictions on users on a location by location basis.

There's the primary derivation so, "No cuts, clones or snips" remains the rules.
not a single mod told you "those were the rules deal with it" please dont fabricate shit. it pits the users against the mods
I have ALWAYS been upfront and honest about what we can and cannot do here,
i also advocated for years to the legal team for a seed trade section .
it pains me when someone takes my hard work and diminishes it like that .
We cannot allow trades of flower/ cuttingsetc because they are cannabis plants and WE who work here at Rollitup have been advised by our lawyers that isnt safe for us until its legal everywhere,
1. our site could be shut down
2.We ourselves could be impacted, served papers, have legal problems, etc.
myself one employee here, and the owner of the site have children and lives outside rollitup. We need to be safe about whats allowed on the site.
if that ever changes i will let you know

When I ask @curious2garden for for reasons for the policy she simply replied with a link to the TOS page. I also immediately deleted that post. I love it here and don't want to cause any trouble for you or anyone else. I also have children and do my best to comply with my local regulations to the best of my understanding. Thank you for the expanded explanation, and all the effort put into the services you can safely provide. I encourage everyone to study their local laws and behave accordingly.
This site seems to be going though a period of rapid membership growth and these questions are being asked frequently. I will happily delete all messages I have posted that could be seeing as antagonistic/loophole mining on the subject
